STAVE 1: A Mystery on a Birthday

The room was dark and kind of creepy like crickets were the only noise around. Fabian stepped in and switched the lights on.  "SURPRISE!" There he goes, surprised as ever.

"Oh my goodness!" he said catching his breath

"Happy Birthday Darling!" his mother, Alissa Velez, kissed him from his left cheek, to the nose and to the right cheek and the forehead.

Fabian saw from the door his birthday cake with a candle of 16 and his father, Jonas, together with his brother, Zach holding the banner: "HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY FABIAN VELLES" and his little sister Koey dressing in a gown wearing her mother's high heels with a big smile and a missing tooth. 

His friends and some of their neighbors were in the living room greeting him a happy birthday too.

Every one of them danced and enjoyed the party like the night would never pass.

After Fabian opened all the gifts, the doorbell rang and it sounded strange, strange like it’s a sound of birds or a breeze of wind, and everyone was quiet when they heard the bell. Fabian peeped out from the window on the upper part of their door. 

There he saw a person with a dark blue hood, green nails and he couldn't determine its gender. 

"Who's there?" 

"Your friend, my dear" replied an old kind voice of a woman. 

"Oh? so may I know your name, Madame?" Fabian replied wondering.

"If you wish to know my name, let me in." replied the old woman gently.

"But before that, what do you need Madame?"  He said holding the door knob, tempting to open the door.

“Please, I need to say something very important- to you"

"If that so, come in."

Everyone doubted the old woman.  They remained quiet and listened to their conversation.

"See this basket?"  She said as she put her palm around it.

 "This is our forest. A young lady living in the middle of it, was the princess. She had dreamt of rebuilding her kingdom as she promised her father. "

The basket sparked like fireworks. It was green and looking in it was deep. The old woman snapped her fingers with her dirty old nails.  Green clouds appeared like those of the magicians.

A beautiful lady appeared around the magical view of clouds. She was wearing a beautiful fine dress mad of leaves, a necklace made of flowers with a diamond pendant. She had a dark brown hair with curls on the end. She had blooming skin, bright green eyes and every time she would cry, there will be rain. 

Fabian's heart pumped very fast when he saw the beautiful lady. He couldn't help it but he cannot explain what is happening to him.  

"What now?" Fabian asked with his voice trembling.

"What are you and what do you need? Who is she and what is she?" He asked once again.

"I know these questions are stocked in your head." The old woman answered with a snap and the green clouds disappeared.

"She is Thania. She is a fairy. She was a princess who long for her kingdom's freedom. Her father died and the kingdom was left in her hand alone. I need you to defend her and the kingdom. You are the key!"

"I don't understand! Who are you then? What are you? Why do you need my help?" Fabian doubted the woman.

"Yes, we do need, we need you! According to the prophesy, a boy, a human born on this day, at exactly the same hour Thania's father died shall be the soldier and will save our kingdom, Pipalupi.  On his sixteenth birthday, he will be chosen and shall raise his armor against our enemies. And no one! no one! Not even the strongest of them shall defeat you. You do not have Achilles heels. You will remain strong and you, yourself shall find out your weakness, but for now all I see is a strong brave man with a good heart capable of saving Pipalupi."

"But, if I am, what is Pipalupi?" He asked

"It's our kingdom." 

"But How will I st-start?" Fabian shivered and was confused.

The old woman gave him three pieces of black diamonds and murmured a spell on him. 

Since then, Aaron felt like he had powers but he didn't know if he really have it or it was just a strenght bestowed on him. 

"I have to think about this first." Fabian bravely replied to the old woman.

"I hope you'll make up a good decision, young man." The old woman replied. "You have to discover your own powers, and remember, you also have your weakness, I want you to overcome these. Discover this as soon as possible, for you will make a very difficult decision." 

"I will, Madame. But please, help me."

"I will be your clue; I will help you through nature. I will always be there."

The old woman stepped out from the door and covered the whole house with green smoke. She cast a spell on it saying: "All those who witnessed these happenings shall forget everything they heard, everything they saw. They will wake up naive." The old woman disappeared together with the thunder and the thick clouds. 

Everyone in the room except Fabian wondered what just happened but they still enjoy and continue their party.
