They sit there and talk about themselves and their lives until the sun starts setting. Jimin starts shivering when the sun touches the horizon.
Jungkook notices and pulls Jimin's into his arms. Jimin slowly stops shivering and relaxes. Jungkook raises his chin and leans in.
All of a sudden they hear the emergency horn sound off 3 times.
Jimin pulls away and looks around. Jungkook grabs him and pulls him under the branch. 3 means there's a hawk somewhere nearby.
Hawks are fairies' main predator. Jimin starts shaking again but from fear. Jungkook grabs his hand and tries to calm him down silently.
There's a thud above them and Jimin starts tearing up. The hawk is on the branch they're under.
Jungkook holds his hand over Jimin's mouth and pulls him close to his chest. He carefully and slowly carries Jimin deeper into the tree without making a sound. They run down one of the branches connected to the trunk.
At the end of each branch, there's a door leading inside the trunk. They reach it and run inside. When they close the door, Jimin falls to his knees. He's terrified of hawks.
If he was alone, he would've frozen up and the hawk would've gotten to him. He hugs Jungkook's calves and cries softly against them.
Jungkook kneels down next to him and wipes his tears away. "Shh, we're fine."
"It was right there."
"I know but we got away. It'll leave in a few minutes."
"B-But why is it here?"
"I don't know."

6 minutes later, the safety horn sounds. They stay in the trunk for a few more minutes while Jungkook convinces Jimin that it's safe to go home.
They walk out of the tree trunk and Jimin says that he wants to go check on his friends.
He flies to Taehyung's house while Jungkook struggles to keep up. When they get there, Hoseok is pacing around outside.
Jimin lands and runs over. "Where's Tae?"
Hoseok looks up with wide eyes. "Oh, thank god–" He gives Jimin a hug. "Taehyung just went to your house and you weren't there. He's inside freaking out. He thinks the hawk took you."
Jimin pulls away from the huh and hurries inside. "Taetae?" He hears crying coming from the other room. He walks in and seeing Taehyung sobbing on the couch. He runs over and gives him a hug.
Taehyung looks up and starts crying harder. "You're okay? You aren't dead? The hawk didn't eat you?"
"I'm okay. Kook and I were on the canopy heights and I totally would've died if it wasn't for him. We were only 8 centimeters away from him at one point."
"I'm so happy you're okay. I went to your house and the door was open and I thought it took you–"
"It didn't. I'm fine."

I swear I'm not trying to make this too much like Tinkerbell and I totally forgot there was a hawk in Tinkerbell and the legend of the Neverbeast until AFTER I WROTE THIS CHAPTER
