Jungkook sits next to the cot in the nurse's hut and taps his foot rapidly. The nurse won't tell him if Jimin is alive or not and Jimin hasn't moved at all. "Come on, baby... Please be okay..."
He grabs Jimin's hand and feels that it's freezing cold. The nurse walks back into the hut with a patrol fairy. "Jungkook, do you know who did this to him?"
Jungkook sniffles and nods. "It was Chanyeol... My coworkers have been taunting Jimin since we started dating. I never thought they would go this far."
The patrol dairy leaves and Jin sighs. "Jungkook... I think you should go back home..."
"No. I want to know if he's okay or not."
"You're the reason he got hurt in the first place."
"But–"
"He'll wake up eventually, but he'll be really sick. He has snow fever and you know how bad that is for warm season fairies."
"I don't want to go home. I want to be here for him."
"You're just putting him in more danger. I suggest you guys end your relationship and find other people. I'm sorry, but it wasn't meant to be..."
Jungkook stares fondly at the the little flower fairy asleep on the cot and his heart aches. There's an ounce of truth to Jin's words.
He stands up and walks over to the door. "When he wakes up, tell him that I love him..."
Jin pats his shoulder. "I really am sorry, Jungkook. I know how much you guys liked each other."
Jungkook tears up and walks out.
