Nobody will like you (as much as I do) (YuukaNen)

A/N: Came out of my self-imposed exile to come up with this. This is for all you Yuukaneists out there looking to cleanse yourselves from the "kiss" scene". It's kinda messy, late night writing so yeah. Enjoy.

She's seen it.

It was all over the news.

Sugai Yuuka's play starts today and from the looks of it, everything was going well for their captain. She looked rather dashing posing with her katana, kicking men around, her expressions have improved a lot since their TokuDare drama.

Though one particular picture had irked her.

Of course, Yuuka had told her beforehand of the particular scene, had shyly confided in her during one of their late night talks, but nothing could stave off the annoyance (or jealousy) that she felt when a picture of Yuuka kissing her male co-stars popped up.

Seeing it actually happen, ticked her off.

She couldn't understand the feeling, really, but before she knew it, she had spent the whole afternoon steaming over the pictures.

Was she actually jealous of Yuuka kissing another person? But why would that be? Yuuka was free to do anything she wants, and this acting gig is good for her... right?

Bah!

Akane's emotions were a muddled mess right now but one thing she is certain about is that Yuuka is a really bad kisser.

Now, Akane wouldn't call herself an expert in that field, she herself had barely any room for romance back in school but she knows damn well that she's a better kisser than Sugai Yuuka.

Ah, that's it! Maybe that's why she's annoyed!

"Hmm, I guess it can't be helped" she sighs and reaches for her phone, sifts through her contacts, and found the familiar number.

"Hey! I saw the reports and congratulations for your first day <3! If you're not busy, would you like to get some drinks later after you're done? I have something I need to talk about"

She hits send and was about to go get a snack when her phone chimed.

"Sure! Anything for you! I'll text you when I'm done? Usual place?"
"Yeah sure, see you later then ;)"

Done.

Somehow her heart starts to palpitate though she wasn't sure why. They were just going to meet up and she'd show her a couple of pointers to help her.

Just that, nothing more.

Never more than that.

Akane lets out a frustrated breath and falls back on her sofa with a huff, "Ugh what have I gotten myself into?"

Akane checks her watch for the umpteenth time that night. It was quite late, but it's been a normal routine for them to meet up this late.

Usually, it's to talk about the group and very rarely, just to enjoy each other's company.

The cafe that Akane was currently sitting in opens late until dawn, catering to night owls and businessmen nursing hangovers from late-night karaoke sessions.

She and Yuuka had accidentally stumbled upon the cafe when they had gone back together after finishing lessons and after that, it became somewhat of a small escape for them.

Akane drums her fingers on the tabletop and stared out into the moonlit night, unaware of the figure approaching her.

"A penny for your thoughts Moriya-san?"
