first kiss

"Well, this is me." You said as you walked up to your apartment door, hand in hand with Olivia.

Truthfully, you didn't want her to let go of your hand. It was soft and warm in your own and brought you a lot of comfort.

"I had a lot of fun tonight." She smiled at you and your heart started to race. "Yeah, me too." You looked down at her hand that was still intertwined with hers. "Wanna go out again tomorrow?" You heard her ask and felt a blush creep up onto your cheeks after.

"I'd really love that." She leaned in and gave you a kiss on your cheek. But when she pulled back your eyes locked. She cupped your cheeks in her soft hands and she started to lean in.

"You sure?" You nodded and put your hand on the back of her neck, pulling her a little closer before your lips finally touched.

The kiss was slow, but it was also everything you've ever hoped it would be.

One of her hands trailed down to your side, her fingers touching your skin lovingly. "How'd I get so lucky to have such an incredible girlfriend? You're just amazing, you know that?" She grinned, her thumbs brushing across your now red cheeks.

"I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" You nodded and pecked her lips one last time. She held your hand until she was too far away and had no choice but to let you go. You watched her turn the corner before you opened your front door.

You closed it behind you and squealed, sliding down the door with the biggest smile on your face. You're already head over heels for her and tonight was easily one of the best nights of your life.
