I walk through a crowd of saffron turbans,

White dhotis,

Blue hijabs,

And green sarees.

Where I see my country,

Others see hate.

Where I see unity,

Others see spite.

Why has our diversity become an executioner when life and death already exist?

Once again I scan the crowd to see if there's any hate,

Then it hits me,

Ahh an epiphany.

It's the dirty politics at stake.

Jalta hua junoon hoon,

Mera josh deta hai gawahiyan hazar,

Na main dharm dekhu, na hi dekhu jaat paat,

Mujhe rakt se sincha hai un jawano ne,

Jinke dharma ki kisi ko nahi thi parwah.

Sab kehte hai Unity in Diversity,

Kyuki INDIA IS ONE.
