A Little Back In Time - 2 : "The Call"

School days were slow and less exciting. The more time I spent, the less enjoyable it became. Me and Temara worked hard on our academics and became the "Nerds". Every student was both jealous and foe to us.

Students began bullying us. They tore our books, stole our materials, pushed our food off the table and would want to kick our asses for no reason every break we had, eventhough we try to back off.

We told our parents about the situation and all they did was telling us to keep our good job and never quit no matter what happens.

What type of parents would motivate their kids this way?! Probably our parents, and you know what does that make me think of?

Since I already know how it feels to be in this kind of situation, I would never do the same my parents did to me if I had kids.

I would go, meet the parents of the children, warn them for the first and the last time and then, WON'T take risk to whatever the fu*k I would do to the children to teach them a lesson!

What are our parents waiting for? I mean, won't they get it until we are hurt, get a bruise, a scar or get cut?!

But thank god I have Temara, without her I would have gave up, ran away or maybe even commet suicide, who knows? Temara would always stand by my side and understands me well.

Once, the school called my parents to have a word with them, I guess!? Yeah, that's what my parents told me. They actually came to pick me up from school and so did Temara's parents; while we were chit-chatting. As my parents saw Mr. and Mrs. Heberson and they greeted each other.

"Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Heberson." both said in union.

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Jackson." they replied back, warmly." So, how is it going on with you guys? Anything new?" Dad asked.

Both gave dad a small smile. "Well... actually nothing's new but we just came because the school called us to talk, I guess. " Temara's dad replied.

"Really?!. . ." dad said surprised which got all of us confused except mom, since she knows. As dad saw all the jumbled looks on our faces, he continued. " We came here for the same reason too. " he said finishing his sentence.

Aaaaaaand, it was found out that both our parents were here for the same case, that "the school called".

On the other hand, me and Temara were confused since we clearly know we didn't mess with anyone or anything, only that the opposite happened to us and all we got for help was advises!

Anywho, we all walked to the principal's office and knocked. I don't know why but I felt. . . . excited?! Ok that's weird, why would I feel excited?

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

"Come in." the voice invited us from inside and so we all entered.

"Hello Mr. Wohler." our parents greeted.

"Hello. Have a sit." standing from his chair he greeted as well and stretched both his hands, pointing at the couch as to tell us to have a sit.

We all sat and the principal dived straight to the point. "I didn't tell you girls to wait out was because I wanted you to listen. So the reason why I called you was to announce a good news that both of them will be promoted straight to first grade. Congrats!"
