"what do you think about it?", Yeonjun asked. "What?" You looked at him, ripped out of your thoughts. The boys chuckled. "I'm sorry. I got lost in my mind." School went by very fast and when you want to go home, it rained heavier than this morning. It was already dark outside, when you left school. You waited for the bus at the station. 10 minutes passed by, but the bus didn't show off. Your shoes were soaking wet, not feeling your toes anymore and you chittered, your arms crossed in front of your chest, to get a bit warmer. "Do you want to sleep here?" a deep voice asked from behind. You turned around, seeing Soobin, standing there, in one hand an umbrella, the other one was in his pocket. "i meet you a lot today", you said. "Aren't you happy about it?", he winked and gave you a light smile, coming closer to you.
"what are you waiting for? Definitely not for the bus, cause the bus stops driving after 6 p.m.", Soobin said, walking to you, now standing only inches away, his breast nearly touching yours. Because of his height, you had to look up, to see at his face, while he was looking down on you, giving you a smile, which made your heart flutter. You were just standing there, not saying one word. "Follow me." "What?" you asked. "I said, follow me", he whispered laughingly. His warm breath softly stroke your skin. "And where are we going?" "To my car. Or do you want to go home by foot?", he gave you a curious look, raising one eyebrow. You giggled. "You would drive me home?", you asked. "Of course i would. You are my friend, you need some help. i'm here with you and i have the solution." "So now come with me, i don't want you, to catch a cold and the same goes for me." you nodded with a light smile and walked to his car.
His one hand who was in his pocket, was laying around your waist, pulling you closer to him, that you two had enough space under the umbrella. You smiled of the closeness of him and you.
You put one arm around his back, so you could not stumble while walking. When Soobin noticed your action, his grip got tighter, causing your whole body goosebumps. He took out his car keys and started the engine of his red mercedes. You sat on the front-seat watching Soobin driving the car. "Do you want to hear some music?" "uhmm, yes of course." "Okay wait, i have the perfect playlist", he said starting the playlist of his phone. The first song which was played was a very calm song, giving this car ride a very relaxing atmosphere. The warm air of the heater filled the car, which made you feel more comfortable. You were looking at him. Watching his moves. The way he looks at the street. The way, how he held the steering wheel with his left hand, the right on the coupling, to switch it a level higher. "What's your favourite song?", soobin asked out of nowhere. "Do you know 'let it be' from the beatles?" "Yes of course, i love this song", he answered, his focus on the lightened street. "You can play it, if you want", he said. You took his phone and turned on the song. When you laid back his phone from where you took it, he slightly touched your hand unintentionally, with the intention of shifting the coupling higher into the third gear.
The touch of his hand, gave you this tingling feeling again, your cheeks heated up. "It's raining pretty heavy", he said, giving him a quick look at you. "yes, a bit." "a bit? y/n, we could swim home", he giggled. "Yeah maybe, i think it would be fun trying it", you smiled just by the thought of it. "you're weird. I hate rain.", he said as a compliment. "You're weird. Rain is beautiful." The whole ride went by very fast. You reached home, parking in front of your house door. "Thank you so much for bringing me home." "Your welcome, don't mention it. I needed to know, that you'll come home well", he showed you his cute little smile. "Bye Soobin, i'll see you on Monday." You waved to him, before closing the car's door. "bye y/n, i'll see you in two days." You walked to your house door, digging in your bag for your house keys.
You unlocked the door, taking one look back to soobin, who was still waiting for you in his car, that you got in your house. You waved at him one last time and he started the car's engine. You walked inside, seeing your dad sitting on the sofa, watching the football-game. "hey little bird. How was school today? Game just started. Rams and Eagles are playing". He looked up from the the tv to you. "Is everything fine?", he asked worried. "No...uhmm...yes. I don't know", you sighed and let fall your tired body on the sofa next to him. He put his beer on the coffee table, his entire attention was on you. "What happened? Is school not as good as you expected?" "No, no. School is amazing. The teachers, the classes. Good PE." "Oh perfect", he cut me off, smiling. Mostly because of the good physical education.
"Yeah, i also made some friends." "Really, that's awesome. y/n i'm so happy for you." "But-" "but what?" "But i lost my book", you got watery eyes, just by thinking of it. "honey... oh no. Okay, ... you- you will find it. I know that. You can do everything." His words made you feel better. "Okay, now, get rid of these thoughts. It's football time and the Eagles are playing", he said, with happiness in his voice, softly punching your shoulder. You took a deep breath and enjoyed the evening with your dad, watching and talking about the match. The first month here went by very fast. You watched with your dad football nearly everyday, learned a lot, got closer with the boys and went to dance rehearsal in your free time.
