Igarashi took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. He was in, he was finally in. They had bought it. He'd never done undercover work as a cop before, this was the sort of cop life he had imagined as a kid, and he was finally doing it. It didn't feel like reality. Igarashi had to calm his nerves down, if anyone found out about his secret identity he would be in more than just trouble, his life was on the line.

The local police department he was working in had noticed a new drug going around the underground market, one that had been marketed to young stressed teens, one that was extremely addictive. Even their own lab had been surprised of its effects, and they had seen most things. His partner, detective Nishina had described the drug as a dangerous spa pill. It made you relax, even making some experience a sort of euphoria, but when the effect ended the consumers turned extremely anxious, even rabid, stressed like they were put in a life or death situation. The case was serious, they weren't even sure how long the pill had been on the market. All they knew was that there was a new yakuza group with higher-ups they weren't able to track... well, until now. Igarashi was in. All he had to do was find out who the leaders were so that they could make an arrest and stop the whole ordeal.

He was standing in the trashy bathroom of a petrol station. The white walls were stained to the point where they weren't even close to white anymore. The floor was sticky and there was a greyish kind of goo in the corner which Igarashi prefered to ignore. The raven looked at himself in the mirror. He wet his hand in the sink and pulled back his hair. He patted down the wrinkles on his black suit jacket and fixed the white collar of his dress shirt. He looked like a playboy businessman when he was trying to pretend to be a part of the yakuza. He didn't even have any tattoos, but of course, he was supposed to be a new guy. This was his shot. If he was able to help with the arrest of the big fishes he could be promoted och finally get some respect from his bosses... Fucking Mutsumi-"heika".

That was the only thing he cared about at that moment. He let his fingers trail down the seam of his jacket to his back pocket, the gun was there, teasingly poking out to scare off any pedestrians. He was ready.

...

Nana bit his lip. A new guy was going to be added today. He didn't like the idea, but he was no one to say against 8's words. Not yet at least. He leaned back into the sofa he was slagging of in, and gently moved his whiskey glass around in a circular motion, observing the yellow tinted liquid move around, reaching the rim of the glass but not spilling over.

"Do you wanna tag along?" 3 asked, looking over his shoulder, staring at the blonde with uninterested eyes. Nana shrugged. The younger man was third in the order of charge of their group, khnm. Nana wasn't too fond of the acronym nor the name, it didn't make to much sense, "kill him not me", what was that even supposed to mean? Sounded like someone was pleading for their life. 3, who's actual name was Hayato Shinomiya but they mostly just called Shi, put on his coat, waiting for Nana to get up.

He was a Hāfu with a light complexion, his hair was naturally light brown and he had a petite stature. The first time Nana had met him he hadn't even believed the guy was part of the group. He had a young innocent face, looking more like some kind of flower boy idol or something. Nana swallowed the last of his cheap tasting whiskey and got up to join his... colleague. Even though the young guy had a weak appearance he was a smart one, he knew everything about drugs you needed to know when it came to their business. He wasn't someone to be taken lightly, Nana knew that. Anyone who wanted to get to the top had to watch their back around the young one.

They left the funky-smelling basement they had been waiting in and headed towards a particular petrol station that had been chosen as a meeting place. A black Toyota was parked outside and Nana jumped into the driver's seat while Shi headed towards the back. The guy always wanted to show that he was the boss, making Nana look like a simple driver. It annoyed him but he couldn't do anything about it.
