"I called 'cause I know you good b' and you precise with your shit. It'll get done." I intently listened to the conversation.

"Cool. Be there in 20. One." As soon as he hung up the phone, I interrogated him.

"What the hell do you mean clean something up? I don't need no parts of this shady business."

"Look, you've been apart of this ever since you started fucking with a nigga who deals. Save the shit ma."

"He slangs but he don't --" he put his hand up.

"Get your shit and let's go." I grabbed my things, walked to the door and sucked my teeth.

"You got one more time to talk to me like I'm your damn child. Crazy af." I walked to his car and he walked to mines.

"Excuse me, am I missing something?" I looked over at him.

"We're driving your car." He said simply.

"Where's the gas money?" I held out my hand and walked towards him.

He pulled out a twenty and placed it in my hand.

"Let's go, ma. Time's ticking." He gave me the address and I got there in 15.

"Lead foot ass. I had to put on my seat belt." He texted somebody.

"But did you die? Okay." Not giving him a chance to answer.

In the driveway was the latest model of a Range Rover and Camaro, I could just imagine what was in the garage.

"They got moneyyyyy" I imitated the girl from Instagram.

I mean my family got money too but damn.

We walked to the door and this fine piece of specimen opened it. He resembled the actor Omari Hardwick. He was muscular and well built. If he was 20 years younger, I would've let him had a taste. Forget that, he could taste it now.

"Long time no see." Julian grinned.

"I know, you was like my little prodigy." His voice gave me goosebumps as they embraced one another.

"Oh, this is Sanai." Julian pointed to me. He went to shake my hand and as he was about to introduce himself he was cut short.

"Sanai?!" I scrunched up my face. Who tf know me? Then she came into view.

"Laiya?!"

"Y'all know each other?" The man asked.

"We're only like bestfriends." She answered.

"Hello." She said to Julian before she dragged me along to a room.

"What are you doing here?" Laiya asked.

"Well, let's just say Ray got into some shit and Julian is helping me out."

"Julian is fine."

"Tell me about it, I had to stop myself from jumping on that." We laughed. She just don't know.

"My turn to ask why are you here." I was hoping she didn't say that was her Sugar Daddy, I'll be so jealous.

"That's my father."
