How Mechagodzilla COULD work in Godzilla vs Kong

I can think of one way that Mechagodzilla can work in Godzilla vs Kong.

This Mechagodzilla is constructed around dagon's bones, but construction on him had been started on him for years in secret. But even going into Godzilla vs Kong's time placement, it's still not finished with it's full construction. And only certain settings, like a variation of the Orca to it, are functional. News of it's alleged construction was only found just somehow found out in 2019 from someone either from monarch or some insider who managed to infiltrate monarch and managed to leak the info. Afterwards, Some sort of rival organization manages to take control of the Moncarch outpost on skull island and use the orca to begin drawing titans to the island and getting Godzilla's attention.
