A/N: to start things off, I don't think I brought up the whole thing regarding Godzilla vs Kong's release date possibly being pushed back due to Godzilla: King of The Monsters' box office not being at the height that many had hopped for. There was also something about them doing reshoots for the film as well.

At first, it probably seemed understandable to do this, since They could push it back on to a date where the movie wouldn't have to deal with any competition. However, the wreshooting part was worrisome as Suicide Squad and Justice League had done similar things before and they didn't exactly get the best results from people. While I am aware that this is a universe being done by different people, it was still a little worrying since the reshot version probably could have been not so well received.

However, sometime yesterday, some recent news came up and it seems Godzilla vs Kong will not being getting pushed back.

On these two pictures, it mentions that some info came out from CineEurope about some exclusive early footage being shown off. Next to that, Godzilla vs Kong's release date has been moved from March 13th 2020 to March 11th 2020. Two days earlier. So, it would seem that Legendary And Warner Bros won't be pushing anything back this time from what it seems. It'll just be pushed forward a little bit.

And don't be too worried about King of the Monsters Box Office. While it didn't meet the results many of us were hoping it would during it's first weekend. It's currently doing a little better internationally and it's numbers are going up a little more and more.

And just for the hell of it, here's a bonus:

There's also been some confirmation on some extra scenes that'll be added to home releases for King of the Monsters.

Here's what was I found from website that has what Michael Dougherty said.

"The director's cut was around 2 [hours], 40-45 [minutes]. I called it Godzilla the mini-series," Dougherty explained. "There weren't a lot of whole scenes that got lifted out. There were a few, and they'll end up on the Blu-ray. But a lot of it was trimming moments within each scene. We had a large ensemble cast, so there was a tendency to give each character a moment... and that adds up."

He continued, speaking about those full scenes, "I don't have a tally; I want to say that there's roughly six to eight scenes...like actual, legit full scenes. And they're a fun watch. I mean, listen, if we were doing Godzilla: The TV Series, they would be perfectly great scenes. But when you're trying to make a 2-hour+ movie, pacing is a very important consideration."

"It was too front-loaded. Too much set up. The first act was dragging," Dougherty added.
