It was an cold rainy day when Sara was getting ready for school, just like she did every morning. She hated the new school, as she had plenty of friends and was rather popular in her old one and God knows if she would ever make any.
"MUM!" shouted Sara, impatiently. "Wake up, you need to drive me to school!" She had already had her breakfast which, strangely, was cereal. This was odd because Sara did not like cereal.
"Coming dear," Sara's mother said, making her way down the twisting wooden staircase.
"Wow Mum you got changed really fast, did you even brush your teeth?" Asked Sara, surprised.
"Yes, honey, I did. What...does my breath stink? Did you even brush your teeth, Sara?" said Sara's mother.
Sara rolled her eyes. "You know I did"After a 20 minute drive to her school, Sara arrived at 8:31. She was actually rather late to school, but as she was new she got in without a detention. Lucky Sara.
"Here we go! First period is Geography. How brilliant." Sara exclaimed, sarcasm practically dripping from her words. "Great. Now I have to sit through a lesson about migration and densely populated countries. Who even gives a crap about how densely populated a country is?"
Strangely, she did have to learn about migration. It were as if the universe hated her, yet listened to her guesses.
As soon as she walked in to class, the teacher, Miss Watson, came up to her and said, overly enthusiastic,
"Hello my dearie! Are you new to this school? If so, welcome to my geography class!" Sara mentally cursed, biting down on her lip. "My name is Miss Watsson! What's yours? How old are you, dear? Where are you from?"Sara was overwhelmed by the amount of questions she was asked, but answered despite this.
"Hello Miss Watsson. My name is Sara, and yes, I am new. I am 11 years old and I'm from Los Angeles." The girl said, aware of all eyes on her.
"Well hello Sara. You can sit next to...let's see. Hannah. I think you two will work great together." Miss Watsson told the eleven year old."Thank you Miss," Sara replied, taking her seat next to the girl the teacher had gestured to.
