So this is a new type of story that i came up with on my own. I hope you all enjoy this.

Kiya opened her eyes, it was a new day but same old menial tasks. She sighed hearing her mother Lagu call her name. Rolling out of her straw bed she stood up going to find a fresh gown When she pulled one from her closet she slipped it on. It was ragged as her family was dirt poor and couldn't afford to feed themselves most times. Her father had died in the war against the neighboring kingdom and it was just her, her sister Kiari, and her mother. The three women were viewed as the sluts of the village. Nobody liked them and often times they would get shoved and kicked, punched, and beat if they were found wandering around in the village. That was why their home was in the forest just outside of the village. And for the placing of their home people viewed the three women as witches claiming that they killed the man of the house. But nobody messed with them for fear that they would get burned or killed if them tried to do anything as far as killing them.

Walking down the rickety old stairs that creaked and groaned as she stepped on them she heard her sister complaining about the foxes frightening the chickens last night. She chuckled she hadn't heard anything over the night. She walked into the small kitchen with the fireplace. "Good morning Mother,  sister." She said with a quiet voice that held strength, a strength that she knew all to well would help her one day. Both of the other women looked at her giving their morning greetings before her Lagu launched into what needed to be done that day. "Morning Kiya. Are you willing to go hunting for more food we are getting low again and need more provisions. While you are doing that your sister Kiari and i will go and do the washing and clean up the house. Just make sure to save any hides from any animals you bring down we can sell them as rugs and blankets so we can grow more vegetables." Kiya nodded "Yes mother" she turned and walked gracefully from the room, heading up the stairs. She had some clothes that suited hunting more than the gown she was wearing. She had a nice pair of black pants that allowed her to move freely with some hided shoes to keep her feet comfortable while she ran and a nice hide shirt all designed by her mother to assist her in her hunting.

After changing from her womanly attire into the attire of a man she went to the trunk at the end of her bed producing the only valuable thing in the house, her fathers bow from the army. It had been sent back to them when he had died along with a full quiver of arrows. Sliding the bow into the sheath she went back down and walked out the flap door. She examined her surroundings. Like always the horse that had been given to her father was in its pen the stallion looked a little hungry. Walked up to the chestnut horse she gave his head a rub "Want to go hunting boy?" The horse snorted and she rubbed his head again "Don't worry you can stay i don't need you to go." Turning past the chicken coop she ran for the forest path. She generally didn't run much on hunts but today she wanted to get back before noon. She felt a compelling need to be back sooner than usual. She looked around using her sharp eye sight to scan the woods. Ears tuned into the quietness around her, nose picking up every scent. She thanked whatever God that gave her, her gifts before moving forwards again. Unknown to herself her eyes were glowing emerald green, slitted like a dragons eye.

It took her a couple hours to track down any prey to kill that would be big enough to feed her family for a few days. When she did find one it came in the form of a large buck that had a considerable rack on his head that would make great arrows or utensils for eating with. She brought the bow up with a steadiness any man couldn't achieve. Knocking an arrow she aimed for his heart pulling it back and she sent it flying to him. The arrow pierced his chest and an unearthly scream was released as the animal tried to run but then fell down dead on the ground. Walking up to the buck she thanked him for his life before grabbing his antlers and starting the walk back to her home.

Back at the village an army or rogue riders came in with burning torches and lit the whole village on fire. They even found Kiya's home and lit it on fire after shooting the two women with bows. The fires of course spread to the forest. Screams could be heard for miles around as the people burned in their homes.

Many miles out Kiya saw the smoke ascend into the sky. Dropping the buck she had she studied it letting her senses roam. She could just make out the sound of screaming and the smell of smoke and burning flesh. Moving forwards at a fast sprint she ran for her home. Reaching the pile of ash where her house once stood she let out a cry. She looked around for her sister and her mother finding nothing but their dead bodies. She looked for Tyga her fathers horse. He was still in the paddock looking scared but alive Running to his pen she grabbed the hackamore that was used on him. Sliding it on his head she opened the gate and jumped on his back the horse running but listening to her. He might have been scared but an army horse was trained to always listen to their rider. She steered the stallion for the village stopping him when she saw the burning village. She urged him forwards slowly before halting him at the well that was not burning Tying him to it she walked through the village. The village was now smoldering most of the fire haven used all its fuel to keep it burning. She ran to the blacksmith. Seeing it was partially still standing with all his weapons untouched she ran in and grabbed a sword and sheath along with a hunting knife and another quiver full of arrows. Next was the leather worker she would need some better clothes as well but first a saddle for Tyga was required. Grabbing one of the hided saddles and a bridle with a bit she added it to her pile Before going to the clothe armory to grab some of the military graded clothes. Among which of was bracers, boots that would be good and sturdy, gloves, and a pair of pants and another shirt. Changing into the outfit she dropped her worn out quiver of arrows and slipped her fathers bow into the new quiver slinging it across her figure she put the sword  on tying it around her waist before dropping the hunting knife down in the other hole on the belt. Scooping the tack for Tyga up she returned to the horse and prepared the horse for their long adventure he decided they were gonna go on. She would hunt these men down if it was last thing she did. She would also find out where her strength originated from. Swinging onto the now saddled horse she grabbed the reins and turned him around she kicked him into a steady gallop she needed to get back to her prized buck first she needed provisions first and foremost and that was the one thing she couldn't find not burnt.
