Chapter 1: Going Soft

I had recently moved to LA about a week ago and to be honest, it's a lot different then Colorado. people here act fake, it's raining a lot, and thank god that it doesn't snow here. I had moved into an apartment. it was 12pm and I needed to film a video. I do Youtube as my way to make money and I'm good at it. I had about 10 million subscribers and 1 million views per video. My fans knew I was on break from Youtube and I told them I would explain everything when I got back. IU set up my tripod and my camera. I made sure that I looked presentable for the video I was about to film. 

"Hey guy it's me Madeline here and welcome back to my channel. If your new then hi welcome."

I continued to make the video explaining that I was moving to LA so thats why I was on break. Once I was done filming, I uploaded the video to my computer then sent the video to my editor. About and hour later I was sitting on my couch in my joggers and hoodie that I stole from my ex scrolling their twitter. I then get a text from m good friend Avani. 

A: hey M heard u in la meet up

M: yeah when

A: today? the hype house is goin to lunch at chipotle you should come

M:k but when

A:?

M:AVANI WHAT TIME

A: oh in 30 I pick u up address?

I gave Avani my address then went to get dressed. I already took a show today so I didn't need to take another one. Once I got dressed, I put my hair in a neat bun and did my normal makeup look. I slipped on my black slip on vans and waited for Avani.

Once Avani showed, I wrapped my purse and my phone then left. 

"Hey M omg it's been forever since I last saw you."

"Yeah. So how's everything?"

"Good. How's Jarod?"

"Uh."

"Oh I'm so sorry I didn't know y'all broke up."

"So the hype house?"

"Oh yeah it's a group of us that all live together."

"Are there guys?"

"I would never live a a house with so much girls. I need my fun."

After about 15 minutes of driving, we finally arrived. We walked in and I looked around trying to find this hype house group. Instead I found this guy and oh y lord he was good looking like better than my ex. He had brown black hair that fallen to both sides of his head. He looked like a spaghetti noodle but I don't mind that and his hazel eyes were like looking into god himself. 

"Ooo M has a crush on Chase," Avani said."

"Chase?"

"Yeah that's Chase Hudson. He's a hype house member. Guys this is Madeline. Madeline this is Addison, Bryce, Taylor, Dixie, Charli, Payton, Drayke, Alex, and Sam. And we can't forget about Chase."

I sat down next to Payton. 

"Wow can I just say your are absolutely stunning."

"Aww thanks."

"Payton stopping hitting on her she's mine."

"No Sam she's mine."

"Guys stop hitting on her she just got here damn." 

"*cough* Chase is going soft *couch*" Payton said.

I couldn't help but blush after what Payton said. After about and how of eating, I had to go home. 

"Hey Avani I'm gonna go."

"You sure? You can stay the night."

"No I'm good. I just scheduled and Uber."

"Oh ok. Well bye."

As my Uber driver arrived I was stopped by someone.

"Hey Madeline wait up."

"Uh hey Chase."

"I wanted to give you my number."

"Why?" 

"Just in case you ever feel unsafe."

"Ok thanks. Bye Chase."

"Bye princess."

I definitely blushed after he called me princess. After 15 minutes, I finally arrived home. I went to change into some sweats and a tank top. I did my nightly routine and went to bed. I couldn't get him off my mind. I couldn't get Chase off my mind. He made me smile. I remembered that he gave me his phone number. I decided to text him. 

M: hey is this chase?

C: yeah y

M: oh its Madeline 

C: oh yeah princess.

M: whats with the name princess

C: idk gtg 

M: k night:)

C: goodnight Princess

I then texted Avani

M: hey Av u up?"

A: yeah y

M: y does Chase keep calling me princess?

A: wdym

M: I asked him and he denied my question

A: see chase is a very interesting person he goes soft for the people he really like and I think one of them is u but idk chase is weird 

M: thx night night

A: night night
