No Murderer Ever Could

Me and my boyfriend, Sero Hanta, were watching a horror movie in my room late Sunday night. We were curled up in his room, and I was horrified. We were watching some movie about cannibals, and it was horrible. Who even makes these movies?! I was trembling visibly and Sero was laughing his ass off at my reaction. It was sort of mean, actually, and even though I was scared, I lived away from his safe arms, simply because I was mad and he deserved it.

"Wait- babe!" He said, laughing still.

"No, no! You're mean!"

"I'm not mean!" He looked at me, his laughing having died down and his breathing coming out in small huffs. His cheeks were pink from lack of air, and his eyes were sparkling with tears, he had laughed that hard! I crossed my arms and faced away from him, looking at the screen again. I watched as the three people on the beach drowned one, then cut him open and ate him. WHY?! Sero had, of course, chosen the movie tonight. And I, obviously, objected to the idea of a horror movie, but it was strongly over ruled by the laws of movie night. The laws that I created. Damn you, past me! If I could RIP up the document, I would, but I'm weak and that shit is laminated.

"Baaaaabe!" He whined, opening his arms for me. I made a bubble in my cheek, and looked away. I didn't wanna watch the movie, it was terrible, but it was better than being teased and laughed at by him. He pouted, which he knew was one of my weaknesses. Part of our pact, actually, was he would never let me get hurt, and I would never let him cry. He wasn't crying, so I didn't have to do anything.

There was a loud thud from downstairs and I jumped, though it was likely Monoma and Shinsou. Insomniac dude got moved up when Mineta was booted out for sexually harassment. Monoma was moved up because our classroom got updated and we had one extra spot. They happen to be dating, but they fight so much you would think they're already married.

Sero got closer to ke, wrapping his arms around me in a tight hug. I gave in and leaned into him, closing my eyes to shield what's left of my blood. Yeah, it all drained from my face. Anyways, he chuckled lightly, making me pout.

"Remember our pact?" He asked casually.

"Of course."

"I said I would never let anything hurt you."

"Righ?"

"So do you think if a murderer tried to kill you, I would they them?"

"No..."

He kissed the top of my head and I smiled. I should have known this all along. He made his hand into half a heart and I did the same, connecting it with his. As long as I'm with him, no murderer could kill me. No murderer ever could.
