Hello everyone, and sorry for waiting almost a whole year to post. I didn't expect this year to be so crazy. It's been tough and had to sort somethings out. I appreciate everyone who waited so long for me to post. Well, here it is. Finally.

"Thank you for giving me a chance y/n," he sparked with joy. "You won't be sorry."

Although my face was bruised, and my eyes were swollen with tears, I was able to put on a smile. I shimmered with delight, but it was hard to tell by the enormous bruise on my eyes. Before I knew it, Evan wrapped his arms around me. He gently hugged me, comforting me with warmth and passion. My eyes went wide with shock, but instead of pushing away, I gently hugged him back. I don't believe he's a bad kid, just confused. He slowly breaks up our hug, noticing his cheek were somewhat flushed.

"Umm... I guess I'll see you tomorrow," he chuckled.

"Yeah," I smile. "I'll see you tomorrow in class."

He waves goodbye as he closes the door to the limo. I limo began to move out of the garage, finally heading home. It was finally over. I slumped onto the sit, appearing more relaxed than ever. I'm finally going home to see my precious pudding and my brother. My father isn't going to be home until midnight since I overheard him have a long shift today at work. Although I wished to see my dad right now, it would be best for him not see me since I have an enormous bruise on my face. He would undoubtedly separate me from school and keep me cooped up in the house all day. I let out a loud sigh trying my best to occupy my mind on something else besides my father probably screaming at me in the morning. I look out the window seeing how the sun began to set, allowing a warm orange to consume the sky.

"Hello umm, miss," I heard someone call out.

My head turns to the driver, who quickly glanced at me before looking back at the road.

"Y-yes," I shuddered.

"So what's your relationship with Evan, miss," I asked.

My face flushed with embarrassment as I remember the gently hug he gave me before he closed the door the limo.

"Oh um," I spluttered, "I'm his tutor."

The driver lets out small chuckled as he takes a left turn to my street.

"Well, miss," he added, "It seems you're being more than such a great tutor."

"Really?" I questioned.

He finally stops right next to my apartment before turning to face me. I wasn't ready to leave out of the car just yet. I wanted to know more about him. About his personality.

"Before Evan went to high school," he gushed, "he was quite a sweet boy. He was always polite to others, an average kid with a big heart. He loved to play guitar but stopped after his father took it away."

His voice changed from a cheerful boy to someone filled with sorrow.

"I wish they never put out that passionate fire he had because now look at him," he mumbled.

I shook my head in agreement, knowing exactly what he meant.

"But now you're here!" he burst in excitement.

"What?" I spatted out.

His face turned into a beam of happiness, and my cheeks burned with red color on my face.

"Believe me miss when I say that you will change that boy into a man," he chuckled.

I was grateful at the moment how dark it got because I could tell my face was completely flushed with a bright red color.

"Thank you sure for believing I could make such changes," I laughed.

"Believe me," he said, "you will."

He seemed so sure that I'll be able to change him, almost giving me the confidence that I needed.

"Thank you, mister," I replied back before getting my bags and leaving the limo.

I close the door and wave goodbye before finally walking towards my apartment building. My bones and muscles felt sore and tight from the harsh day I went through. I was thankful that my condo was on the third floor and not on the fifth floor. I take out my keys, unlocking the front door to be greeted by pudding.

He yaps and yaps as he twirls around with his two little legs. I closed the door behind and slipping off my bag before going down on one knee.

"Hello there, pudding," I gushed, "I've missed you so very much."

I grab his small but squishy face against my palm, feeling the wet drool coming from his mouth. He was quite a jumpy boy, always wanting to be pet and adored something I truly loved about him. I let go and walk to the kitchen to see my brother sleeping on top of his calculus textbook. I couldn't help but allow a small smirk curve on my mouth. I went towards him and lightly tapped him on the shoulder. He slowly opens his eyes, realizing who had just woken him. He sits up straight and being to stretch his arms up while letting out a long yawn.

"Hey y/n," he mumbled, " how was your evening?"

I quickly remember the little incident I had with Evan making my heart boil, but I kept my cool and remembered that Evan is willing to change.

"It went alright," I explained, "I ate dinner over there and met his parents, Mrs. Fong."

His eyes went wide with shock just like me when I found out that Evan was related to her. He jumps off his chair and grips my shoulders tightly.

"You're joking, right?" he shuddered.

I stayed silent and shook my head to indicate that I wasn't joking. His face seemed to look even more worried, but before he said anything, he sighed and hugged me gently.

"Y/n, you must be careful with that woman," he mumbled into my ear.

"I know," I sighed.

He moves back and tries his best to put on his best smile, but instead, look thin and small.

"I should go to sleep now," I tell him. "You've been busy all day."

"I think you need more rest than me, y/n" he chuckles, before grabbing all his stuff and heading to our room.

I think it is time I go to bed as well. It's been a rough day, and sleep is just what I need it.
