Two chapters in one 🐱

Gasping so hard, I opened my eyes to some dark shadows surrounding me from every corner I can possibly see. They looked at me viciously as if they were waiting to see my reaction.

Realizing what was happening around me, I let out a huge shriek knocking the air out of my lungs in terror of the unknown.

One of them slapped his palm hard on my mouth - in order to stop me -, making me attempt to lessen my loud shrieks and outrageous screams.

"shut it princess or I personally will". He said that making me nod my head in fear of the consequences.

I slowly stopped screaming and found my dead voice alive again, saying "who are you?".

They all looked at each other and smirked devilishly then looked at me.

" you will see, princess"

I squinted in attempt to figure out my surroundings that lead me to realize that I was in a small cabin.

" stop it, princess. We got you now and I want you to know that you are our little Prey. So, no need to worry about anything.".

Oh

"noooooooooooooooo...".

I woke up covered in sweat and all over my body and tears running down my cheeks vigorously due to the intensity of that horrible nightmare.

It was just a dream. It was just a dream. It was just a dream. I had to tell myself that so as to calm down a bit but it felt so real that I think I won't sleep for a while, I looked at the clock beside the bed

*5:00 AM*

I have to call my mother now and I don't care if she's asleep or not because I know she is the only one who will calm me down, In fact, I have no one else but her.

I quickly grabbed my phoned and dialed her number. I waited for couple of minutes till she responded

" Emmm. Why are you up so early, sweetie?".

Hearing her voice, I broke down immediately and started explaining everything from the forest dream till now.

"I don't know what's wrong with me mom. What should I do? Please tell me anything".

She sighed loudly before saying. " awww peach muffin, you will be just fine but you have to come back home at once so that we can talk more sweetheart okay but now just sleep tight. Byeeee".

She rushed it all quickly but I know her so well. She was hiding something very dangerous but as she said, I will try to have some sleep.

I woke up to the chanting birds, singing with their lovely sounds and that made me smile hard in spite of the recent circumstances.

Today is the first day of school and I am beyond excited to meet new people and study what I love.

I quickly took a bath and put some decent clothes on. Today I decided to wear black jeans with a pink oversized hoodie. I put my hair in a messy bun then I proceeded to run to the office to grab my schedule.
