Midoriya tossed and turned in the confines of his sheets, barely able to close his eyes and relax peacefully as his brain continued to produce the same lingering thoughts in his head. He exhaled sharply and glanced at his All Might-themed alarm clock.

1:02 AM

He tried to fight the urge to do so, however his body ignored his wishes, sitting up on its own and letting his feet dangle onto the floor, slipping into his house shoes. He braced himself before propelling his body to stand in the dark room, his hand rummaging his shorts to find the pockets hidden within them, and slowly walked towards his door, opening it. He stepped out and close the door behind him silently, tiptoeing towards the stairwell to prevent awakening anyone else on the floor with the sound of the elevator.

He jogged down the stairs, making his way to the common area. It was nearly pitch black, the only visible light coming from the moon outside. He felt his way throughout the area, being careful not to bump into anything that would cause a sound, revealing his location. When he felt like he reached the kitchen area, he felt around the wall for a light switch, his hand landing on the tiny handle and flipping it to the on position. A single light dangle above the kitchen sink, giving him just enough brightness to see the rest of the kitchen. He grabbed a plastic cup from a bag nearby and made his way to the refrigerator, using the built-in water machine to pour himself a glass of the ice-cold liquid. He lifted the cup up to his mouth and let the water trickle in, a refreshing feeling of cold vibrating in his veins. He needed this.

He turned around to face a very sleepy Uraraka, who was rubbing her eyes softly in front of him. He gasped, nearly dropping his cup in the process.

"U-Uraraka-san! What are you doing up so late?" Midoriya yelled softly, trying to calm his nerves so his voice wouldn't wake up any more visitors.

"I could ask the same about you," she responded, a yawn following the sentence. She stretched out her arms and back to crack her spine, letting her arms fall to her sides when the satisfying crack made itself known. She walked over to the same bag Midoriya found his plastic cup in and grabbed one herself, walking back towards his direction with sleepy eyes. Midoriya moved out of her way swiftly, and she opened the refrigerator door to grab a bottle of pink lemonade, setting it down on the island in front of them and letting the door close behind her. She sat the cup down next to it and opened the bottle, tipping it over so that the pink liquid would fall into the cup. Midoriya watched her intently, letting a small smile form with his lips.

"Pink lemonade at one in the morning, eh?" He said playfully. Uraraka turned around, cup now in her hands, and she proceeded to chug the liquid down, catching Midoriya by surprise.

"Uraraka!" He exclaimed, stepping closer to her and laying a finger on the cup to tip it down. Her eyes grew wider at the sudden kick the lemonade gave to her body, and she let Midoriya take the cup away from her face.

"Deku-kun..." She faintly whispered, but his eyes were focused on the glistening remains of the pink lemonade above her lips, which then trailed down to her actual lips. Pink, soft, plump, kissable—

"You have that look on your face again," she said nervously, licking her lips to wipe off the excess remains of her drink from her face. Midoriya eyes widened at the realization that their faces were inches away, and he jumped back.

"I—well, I guess I just got a little—"

"Worried?" she finished. She hung her head down low and let out a soft sigh. Midoriya sat both cups down behind him on the counter. He intertwined his hands together and prepared himself for what he was about to say.

"So, about today..." he started off. Uraraka's gaze hit his shoes, still not wanting to look at him yet.

"I have to confess something."
