Tim Liddell felt angry as he got off the train. The train had broken down and they had stopped in the middle of the countryside.
Everyone got off the train and started speaking to each other. But Tim was tired and didn't want to talk much.
Besides, everyone would consider him a loon if they knew that he was the descendant of the same Alice Liddell In Wonderland.Tim decided that since he was too tired to jump down a rabbit hole, he would visit Wonderland in his dream through the dreamscape.
He sat under a nearby tree, humming contently as he sat in the shade, away from the scorching sun before closing his eyes and entering the Dreamscape.
He had tea with the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts like a normal British gentleman, chatting merrily with them as they talk about all things mad, beautiful and magical in their Wonderland.
Wonderland was Tim's safe haven whenever he felt blue. Tim spent some time strolling through the Garden of the Queen of Hearts, watching the card guards paint the white roses red.
After a while, Tim's body started fading and he realized that he was waking up. After bidding goodbye to all, Tim woke up to see a little boy staring curiously at him with big wide innocent eyes.
"Did you see a fairy in your sleep, Sir?", the little boy asked Tim.
Tim chuckled before replying, "Not this time, sadly not. But I did visit a few friends of mine."
"Are they fairies too, Sir?", the little child asked curiously.
"No. But don't worry. I'll take you with me someday on my next escapade to wonderland."
Liddell picked up the little boy and walked towards the train saying, "Now then. The train is all fixed so let's find your parents."
