"Let me cater to you, because baby this is your day."- Destiny's Child
Chapter 6:
Saturday
9:45 AMJorja Smith
Jorja was in the shower when the door bell rung. She carefully got out the shower stepping on the white marble floor that was covered by a black shagged rug. Jorja grabbed her robe that was on the hook by the door.
As she walked down the stairs to the front door there was a draft of wind coming from the window she had left open. After closing it she headed to the door. Peaking through the peep hole all she saw was a persons neck. Opening the door she was confused.
"What are you doing here?" She said wrapping the robe tightly around herself.
"Damn, I can't just stop bye?" He said welcoming his self in and sitting on the couch.
"Yeah but you could've called first. Take your shoes off, I don't know what you think this is." Jorja closed the door and stood in front of the coffee table that was in the middle of the room.
"My bad, but I didn't think I needed an appointment. I just came by to see you before you go on your little vacation." He took off his shoes and placed them on the mat by the door then headed back to his seat on the couch. The girls had finally told Jorja that they were taking her on a trip to Miami for her birthday. To say she was excited was the least.
"Who's truck is that outside?" He looked up at her.
"Mine." Jorja smiled proudly. Jorja had finally made the decision to go back and get the truck. She decided that she was just going to have to put in the extra hours at work.
"Okay big baller, I see you." He brushed her shoulders off making her laugh.
"Thank you." He looked her up and down biting his lip." You look nice." Jorja shifted her weight from left to right, she felt herself getting warm. "What were you doing?" He noticed she had water droplets running down her with just sporting a robe.
"Thank you. I just got out the shower, I was going to do my hair."
"Okay you go do that. Do you still have that cereal I left here?" He pointed his thumb to the kitchen. "Yeah it's in the cabinet on top of the sink."
"Aight bet." He headed to the kitchen leaving her to cater to herself. She headed back to the room and closed the door. Jorja took off her robe and started to lotion her body. As she was putting on the under garments the door opened. Jorja hurried and grabbed the robe to try and cover herself.
"What are you doing." She shrieked.
"Nothing, why what's up?" He sat on the bed with the bowl of cereal.
