Annabeth's POV
It was finally Friday. Don't have to deal with all these bitches for two days.
I slumped down in my seat fourth period, my leg bouncing from anticipation to get out of this Hell hole. I watched the clock and counted down the seconds till lunch. I just wanted some alone time in the library, and I knew Percy would too. He always goes there and sits on the purple bean bag with his AirPods in, and falls asleep. How do I know this? Because of the two times I've been there, the same thing has happened.
The bell finally rang, and I jumped up from my seat and sprinted toward the library. Somehow, Jackson was already there. I plopped on the bean bag beside him. He opened one eye, revealing his sea green iris, which had a hint of blue around his pupil.
"Wise Girl? What are you doing here?" He said sitting up and taking his earbuds out.
"I don't know, I just wanted to get away from everyone." I said.
Percy collapsed back in his seat.
"Welcome to my world." I let out a small smile and also leaned back.
"Do you ever eat?" I asked.
"Kinda. I munch on my blue cookies."
He took out a small bag of cookies out of his hoodie pocket, and tossed it to me. I caught the cookies, and examined them. They were semi crumbled, and they were a vibrant blue.
"Why and how are they blue?" I said raising an eyebrow.
"Well, my favorite color is blue, and when I was little, I said that I love blue food. My step dad Gabe said that there was no such thing as blue food. So me and my mom started making blue cookies to basically piss him off." He said chuckling and putting his hands behind his head.
"Fair enough."
I took one out of the bag and took a bite.
"What are you doing tonight?" He suddenly said, looking at the floor, then looked up at me.
I stopped chewing.
"Uh, nothing...why?" I said.
"I wanna show you this place. It has really cool people, and is basically a underground hangout spot." Percy explained.
"And um...I want you to come with me." He quietly said turning red. I smirked.
"Are you asking me on a date?" I said joking.
He turned even redder.
"W-what no, no no. Any-anything but that." Percy stuttered.
"I'm kidding Seaweed Brain. I'll go with you."
He relaxed and his face turned back to normal. Percy smiled. I noticed that he had a dimple on his left cheek, but not his right.
"Um, I think you shouldn't pick me up or anything because my stepmother will get suspicious. So can you just give me the address and I'll meet you there?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'll text it to you right now. You think you could get out by 7?" He said pulling out his phone.
"Yeah."
Right then, the bell rang.
"See ya later, Perce." I said.
"See ya." He said with a smile on his face.

I got home and tried to pick out an outfit. I decided to wear a short, semi fancy crop-top, with tight leggings. I topped it off with my Airforce 1s, and waited for 7 o'clock to arrive.
