Percy's POV

A few weeks passed, and everything started to turn back to normal again.

Annabeth has been staying with me, and we were both healing emotionally and physically together. We barely left eachother's side. Anyways, Piper and Jason FINALLY started dating, and Hazel and Frank are on the verge. Helen decided to keep quiet about the whole thing, The cops never did figure out anything. We were in the clear, thank the gods.

"It's a Christmas Miracle." Hazel kept calling it. Oh yeah, Christmas is next week, and I can't wait to spend it with everyone.  I especially can't wait to give Annabeth her gift. This week is the Winter Formal, and I have yet to ask her to go with me. For some reason, I was nervous to. This is so stupid. I thought. You guys LOVE eachother for God's sake.

"Hey, Wise Girl. I wanna ask you something." I tried to build up the courage to ask her after walking home from school.

"What's up?" She looked up at me, and her stormy-grey eyes met mine.

"Uh...would you want to...I don't know, go to the dance with me?" I scratched the back of my neck. Her face darkened.

"I was planning on just going with Piper and Hazel." She looked at the ground. I felt my ears turn red from embarassment.

"Oh ok. Uh, sorry." I said sheepishly. Annabeth started laughing.

"What?" I asked confused. She wrapped her arm around my neck and put me in a headlock.

"Of course I'll go with you, Seaweed Brain." She gave me a noogie. I wave of relief washed over me, and I laughed with her. She let me go and kissed me. A warm sensation came crashing over me, just like everytime she kissed me. Annabeth pulled away and held my hand.

"You're such a Kelp Head."

Later that day, everyone was at the hangout spot as usual, but we were discussing the dance.

"The boys and girls will go shopping seperatley-"

"Shopping for what?" Frank asked, cutting Piper off. Piper seemed to be taking lead of this whole formal thing, and no one dared to get in her way. It was like she was in her element.

"Dresses and tuxedoes, you dolt!" She snapped. Frank's eyes widened.

"Sorry, I'm just really stressed right now." She pinched the skin between her eyebrows.

"Can you clarify what gender will be shopping for dresses?" Leo tried to sound serious. Everyone except Piper seemed to be trying not to laugh. She took a deep breath and ignored him.

"Girls, we're leaving and going to the outlet mall." Piper said quietly.

"Right now?" Hazel asked. Piper turned to her, and a face of regret flashed through Hazel.

"No, we'll wait until it's over." Piper yelled sarcastically. She grabbed the girl's wrists and dragged them out of the building. Annabeth flashed me a look that said Help. Before I had time to say or do anything, they were packed in Piper's car and driving. It was a universal rule to NEVER go shopping with Piper. Jason told me the longest he had to wait for her at the mall was four hours. "Never again." I remembered him saying traumatically.

"Welp, guess that leaves the boys." Jason said. I pulled out my phone and texted Annabeth.

Let's go for a navy-blue theme. Love you Annabeth, good luck. I texted her.

Ok. You may not see me again. Love you too. She texted back. I smiled and put my phone back in pocket.
