Sora was hiding in his room, curled up on his bed as knuckles rapped at his door. The moonlight from his window left an ethereal glow on Sora's tanned skin, painting his walls and his wooden floor in precious light. Voices echoed through his room, his friends. "Sora? Are you awake? Riku and I are going home. We'll stop by tomorrow morning, then maybe we can all meet up at the beach together." Ventus' tone was strong, but soft. Sora could tell he was worried. "We'll be here around noon, okay Sora? We'll bring the girls too. Roxas is staying, so he'll be here for you if you need him." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Gentle rolling waves crashed against the shore of Destiny Islands, deep blue painted Indigo under the twinkling stars. It had been a busy day, a celebration of peace across the worlds. The girls had gone home to "rest", but most of the guys found it better to keep the party rolling. Riku, Roxas and Ventus were glued to a T.V. screen, adamantly shouting that they would be the victor of the round. Sora had opted out of the competition, but only because he wanted to make hot chocolate for everyone. Tonight was one of those "chilly at night but also hot has heck during the day" kind of situations. On a polished wooden shelf lay a Nintendo 64, among other consoles. On the T.V. screen, Pikachu had just "Thundered" Kirby into oblivion. He couldn't help but grin, knowing the sound all too well. The first game of the night, they were having a Smash Bros Tournament.
He finished mixing the cocoa powder with steaming milk, his hands hurt like hell. Sora wasn't always the most graceful. In the living room, Ventus suddenly sprang to his feet, light radiated from him. Always a star. "Hah! I finally beat you Roxas! Yes!~" Roxas' calm expression dropped to a rare pout, but a small smile still graced his figure. Sora topped each mug with a small mountain of whipped cream. "So Ven finally came out on top huh?" He placed the mugs of hot chocolate onto the table. When he pulled away, he felt himself shiver. A tiny prick of pain assaulted his jaw. He was brought back to the game by Riku, who had lost to Roxas in record time. Sora glanced at the clock, it was only 9 in the evening, he had three more hours until the inevitable migraine would invade his skull. "Hey, start the next round guys! I wanna see Ventus mop the floor with Riku!" A quiet "Hah?" was heard in response, and Sora's grin grew wider. He had expected a loud, sassy retort to be thrown his way, but instead he was met with silence. "Sora, are you trying to start something?~" Sora's grin only grew wider, a clear sign that he intended to form rivalries tonight. "You remind me of a dog sometimes Sora. Your always so happy. And what's with those teeth?"  Sora arched a brow, caught off-guard by such an odd question. "A dog? I'm way cuter than a dog Riku~ Besides, what's wrong with my teeth-" Roxas cut him off faster than the train in Twilight Town. "Sora, your teeth kind of look like tiny daggers. You're no dog, you're a wolf." Ventus seemed to squint at Sora, but then his eyes brightened back up. "Sora, are you a werewolf? Like in those stories that Kairi, Xion and Namine read?" Roxas held his chin in thought, smirking. "I'd say so, but what if he's on the other side? I could see Sora as a vampire. Let's say you.. Just happened to bite someone, could you... drink their blood?" Sora had to giggle. "Well, it's not like I've ever tried Roxas, why would I want someone's blood anyway?" Everyone's eyes drifted towards him, locking onto his teeth. He felt hands grab his shoulder with a surprising amount of strength, and he was then vigorously shook back and forth. "Sora! How did I never know you were a vampire? I was inside of your heart!" A chuckle escaped his lips, he was quick to reassure the blond in front of him. "Ven, vampires don't exist, you know that." But I can't say I do. Ventus puffed out his cheeks, but dropped the topic. "So, do you know any werewolves?~" Sora opted playfully shove him to the side. "C'mon, I wanna see you have a clean sweep!"
An hour later, and Riku hadn't gotten a single win. He'd just been trolled by another thunder when Sora turned towards the clock. 10:05... "Anybody want a refill while I'm up? Or some of my cookies?~" Riku didn't respond, far too engrossed into his vengeance match, but Ventus gave a quick nod.  He grabbed his white mug that adorned a tiny shadow heartless, and made his way to the kitchen. Roxas hopped off of the couch to follow, standing in front of the T.V. so that Riku couldn't dodge Ventus' assault totally wasn't on purpose. Gleefully ignorant to the glare Riku shot at him, he followed Sora into the kitchen. A sudden prick against Sora's lip reminded him that it was getting closer to 12:00. Already? Geez... I'm already starting to smell everyone's... He opened the fridge to pull the milk out, and set it on the counter. In a swift movement, he grabbed a juice box from the back of the fridge. Only one? Where did the other one go? Tonight is gonna suck...Then again I could just... Fall asleep.. "AGH. Why are you so good as Jigglypuff? WHO EVEN PLAYS JIGGLYPUFF?" Sora heard a loud thump as Ventus dramatically pretended to faint on the many blankets laid on the floor. "It seems that when Sora isn't here, I am the king. Sorry Riku.~" A fond expression spread across Sora's face as he burst out laughing, choking on the "juice" in the box.
His eyes shifted from the living room, back to the kitchen counter. He reached for Ven's mug,  and he was met with a pair of chilly blue orbs staring at him from over the counter. His face was tucked between his pale fingers like a child. "Need some help?" Sora could feel his face heat up, his thoughts trailed to how light Roxas' blood always seemed to smell. How sweet it would taste- Sora rapidly shook his head, again, choking on the blood he was drinking. Breaking his eye contact with Roxas, he quickly finished the rest of the thick red liquid, and tossed the crumpled container into the trash.
Roxas reached his hand towards the Ven's mug, but Sora stopped him halfway. "Uh-uh, you're supposed to be relaxing, get outta my kitchen." When he turned to heat more milk, he heard the mug being carefully slid across the counter, away from him. "Roxas. I can hear you stealing that cup."  his fingers twitched, and he whirled around to face the counter again. "Mhm, okay super human vampire. Just let it be, all it needs it the milk now anyway." Sora huffed in response, but felt his lips curve into a gentle smile. He pulled Roxas toward him, and rested an arm on his shoulder. "Y'know, you're too stubborn. I gotta break that wall.~" Sora engulfed Roxas in a tight hug, squeezing him and lifting him off of the ground. He felt Roxas awkwardly place his hands over his arms. "Sora- Put me down, are you a Vampire AND a barbarian?" Sora let Roxas' feet touch the ground, but didn't release him. "Oh please, if I was a vampire, I probably would've just done this!" Sora bit Roxas' neck as a joke, and he thought it was hilarious, until he felt the body in his arms shiver. He became vaguely aware of a warm liquid on his tongue, and the taste of iron. There couldn't have been words to describe the level of panic he felt. His will wavered, he licked Roxas' neck, but he couldn't convince himself why. To taste more? To stop the bleeding?  Roxas hadn't moved, other than a few twitches of his body. Did I hurt him? Is he in shock? He tried to turn Roxas around, apologize properly or at least reassure him, but the only thing he managed to do was steal a glance, and tear his eyes away. He refused to look at Roxas as he shoved the milk into the fridge, and sped upstairs.

That's how he ended up in this situation, embarrassed beyond belief, hiding under a blanket on his bed. He heard footsteps awkwardly shuffle towards him, "... Sora?" He refused to respond, he had been so close to actually binding his friend, forever. One solid bite would make Roxas his... Not that he needed to know that. Sora buried his flushed face into his pillow. "Come on Sora... I'm not mad- I was just surprised.." Roxas couldn't have understood the position he'd almost been in, it was well past 1 in the morning and Sora was getting impatient. "I'm sorry... I honestly didn't mean to, but-" A firm hand rubbed his shoulder, and rolled him over. Sora didn't have the energy to fight it. Roxas' ruffled Sora's spiky hair affectionately. What kind of face am I making right now? The expression on his face... "Sora, I said I was just surprised," He shuffled closer, Sora panicked when the bed dipped, scooting to the side more. "Sora. Come here. You're acting like you're scared of me-" He reached out and roughly grabbed my arm, pulling me back towards him. "Besides, I... never said I didn't like it. Geez, would you look at me?" Sora felt a blush spread to his ears. "And while you're listening, no, it didn't hurt, calm down." A sheepish smile started to spread across Sora's face, and he was going to apologize again, but felt a finger being pressed to his lips. "So...Sora," Roxas removed his jacket, and slid the sleeve of his shirt down to reveal a pale shoulder. "I... Want you to do it again?" Sora could feel his heart explode 10 times over, how could Roxas suggest this? He reached towards Sora, his fingers gently pulling him closer. "W-Wait, you don't understand-" He felt another hand snaking around his back. "You know... This isn't all that simple-" Roxas shook his head and rested a hand on Sora's shoulder. "Then explain it to me later, But for now, go ahead. C'mon, my shoulder is getting cold." Sora took a nervous breath, trying to shake his nerves. He hesitated, but leaned forward,  giving Roxas' neck a slow lick, before gently sinking his teeth into skin. "Nn-!" Roxas' back arched and his legs twitched. The process of sucking blood could vary, but was generally short. In just a minute, he felt like he was melting. "Sora-!" In his haze, he pulled Roxas close, pressing their chests together, both of their bodies seemed to radiate heat. The only thing Roxas could process was that it felt good. It felt warm, hot, and it coursed through every part of his body. His muscles seemed to burn, as if he'd been shocked, and he shamefully loved it. His body was burning, and when Sora finally retracted his teeth he whimpered. Sora gave the bite mark another lick, forcing a rather embarrassing sound to escape his blonds lips. "Oh? Did you enjoy it Roxas?~ I tried to warn you." Roxas slumped against the bed, catching his breath. "You... What? I just wanted you to bite me.." Whether it was the blood loss, or the fact that it was insanely late, he felt crazy, he wanted more. His body was heavy, his head felt fuzzy and unfocused, like he had just fought a hundred heartless. His heart was an even bigger mess, a flurry of emotions invaded, it almost made his chest hurt. "I don't think I should keep you up, you're gonna need rest. I'll explain in the morning, I promise." Sora left a kiss on Roxas' forehead, and laid down facing him. He was already beginning to fall asleep. Roxas shuffled his body closer, snuggling into Sora for warmth. Almost immediately he drifted into sleep, vaguely aware of a pair of arms wrapping around him.
