«Gajeels Pov»
I was on my way back to the guild. Pantherlily and I had just finished a job. It was a really easy one. Just to defeat a few vulcans that had been attacking a nearby town. We decided to take a short cut through the woods. On the way to the guild I heard a gun shot but what really worried me was the scream that came right after it. Pantherlily and I share a worried look before we rushed in the direction we heard the scream come from. The closer we got the more I smell blood and lots of it.
When I got there, I saw a girl surrounded by lots of people wearing cloaks. Blood was pouring down her leg and arm. She was struggling to keep balance.
Just when she was going to fall I jumped inside their circle and caught her before she hit the ground. She had lost conscious when I caught her. I laid her down and decided to take care of the people around us quick before she died of blood loss.
They didn't seem to be very happy with me interfering with whatever they were planning on doing.
One of them got a magic gun and pointed it at me. I stood up and prepared myself to fight.
"Just leave the girl and we won't hurt you." The one with the magic gun said.
That got me pissed. No one orders me around. How did they expect me to leave her there injured. Especially, with these bad looking people. They probably belong to a dark guild.
"Hell no! Do you really think I would leave an injured girl, who can't defend herself, in her current state?" I said to the guy with the gun.
"Fine. Do as you wish but we warned you."
In less than a second, they all came prepared to fight me. I looked at the girl. She looked really pale and she was losing blood, fast.
I decided to make things quick and knock them out with my dragon roar.
"Tetsuryu no Hoko!"
(For those who don't know what it means it says Iron Dragons Roar.)
They all laid on the floor unconscious. I looked at the girl and noticed that her clothes were soaked in blood.
Even with all the blood on her she still looked beautiful. She had (h/l) (h/c) hair and (s/c) skin. She was covered with bruises and her clothes were all torn up.
I stayed there mesmerized. Even in the dark I could still see her clearly. After a minute, I heard someone clear their throat right next to me. I looked around and saw Lily looking at me. I was brought back to reality. I took her in my arms and started running.
"Gajeel, I think we should take her back to the guild and heal her there." Lily said.
"Yeah, right. Lets go!" I said running at full speed. Wendy should be able to heal her up.
«Time skip to the guild»
{Gajeel's POV}
Its been a day since I brought the mysterious girl to the guild.
The other guild members have been very curious as to how she got into that situation and who she was.
I have to admit that I have been a little curious too. I also have been having weird emotions about her. I've been wanting to hurt those people that were after her. I feel the need to protect her with my life. I can't really explain these emotions that I'm feeling and its really bothering me. I wanted to ask Mira about them but I have a feeling that it might not be a good idea.
I've been sitting in the infermery remembering the events that happened a few days ago to see if I could figure out something.
«Flashback»
When I got to the guild everybody turned around to see who had entered. There wasn't a lot of members in the guild since it was so late at night. Those who were there looked at me and saw I was carrying an injured person in my arms.
Blood was dripping from my arms and the girls body onto the floor. Wendy and Erza immediately ran to me and took her away from me. As soon as they were out of sight, I was surrounded by the few members there and asked millions of questions like, who she was and what had happened.
I was getting really irritated since they wouldn't shut up and let me talk. I got fed up and yelled at all of them to shut up.
After 5 seconds of staring at me in shock, they finally shut their mouths. I explained everything that happened from the very beginning.
«End of flashback»
And now I'm back at the beginning waiting for her in the guilds infirmary, to wake up so I could ask her, her name and what those people wanted from her.
I was about to leave to get some food when I heard someone move behind me. I turned around and saw her sitting up. She stared at me for a good five minutes and said, "Um, where am I?"
