Moonlight (A Juno x Haru story)

Ch. 1 The Unraveling

"I just can't accept it..." Juno muttered to herself. "How can a wolf fall for a little bunny like her?!" Juno continued. "What is so special about her, I just don't get it..." She thought to her self and sighed while on her way to class. "I need to find out for myself some how. I need to see what she's up to. I can't let her have Legoshi-senpai. He's mine!"

Juno's class had ended and just as she was about to head up to the gardening club, she suddenly got distracted and saw Legoshi headed in the direction of the drama club. "Heh, maybe next little bunny girl, but for now I won't be giving up just yet on being with him." Juno decided to catch up to Legoshi, and greeted him.

"Hi, senpai! How're you doing today?" She said with a cute smile on her face, tail wagging away.

"Good, I guess...I was just thinking about the lighting for the next perfomance." He said in his usual aloof and distant manner.

Juno desperately trying to follow that up with something, says, "That's nice, the lights look really nice..." She says while clearly tripping up.

"Mmhmm." said Legoshi, as if he wasn't actually listening to her.

Juno started to get annoyed, but keeps her cool as best as possible. She continues, " I'm sure you're lighting effects are going to be a great help with the upcoming New Year's play. I've been given the lead role, and I'm gonna appreciate...you're uhhh....help."

Legoshi turns to her with a somewhat stoic impression on his face, "Thanks." And then suddenly, changes expression like he just realized he had something very important to do.

Juno initially takes this as affirmation and smiles, but the Legoshi stops in his tracks. "I almost forgot, I had go see Haru-chan but I'm going to be needed at the club!"

Juno expression quickly turns to one of disgust and disappointment.

"But I can't see her now, the tech team is needed right now. What do I do then....?" He thought to himself. "Hmmm...oh, wait maybe I can have Juno-san deliver a message for me." He turns to meet Juno's eyes.

And Juno blushes and averts her gaze.

"Juno-san, would you mind delivering a message for me to Haru-chan?" As he is stiffening up thinking about his rabbit love.

"Sure, Legoshi-senpai....I'll be sure to deliver the message." Juno says in an almost monotone sounding voice.

Juno slowly paces back towards the gardening club feeling almost drained, and she makes her way up the stairs, anger begins swell up inside of her. She can feel the hairs standing up on her tail. But she tries hard to calm her self down as she approaches the domain of her rival.

She reaches the door and begins to take a deep breath. But suddenly, the door opens and Haru pokes her little head out of the big door. She looks up almost expectantly, but notices Juno is there instead of Legoshi. "Oh, it's you! I thought that was Legoshi making those big steps up the stairs."

Juno is suddenly taken aback by this comment from Haru. "I'm not fat, you stupid little..." She thinks to herself but tries to calm herself thinking back to what she said at the Meteor Festival. "Well, I just came to..."

Haru suddenly interupts her before she can finish, "I could use some help in here, with the garden. You mind helping out?" She says while smiling.

"Ugh...you sly little..." Juno whispered to herself. "All right, let's see what you got." She said with a forced smile.

"Great, I'm always looking for a big strong animal to help out." Haru said with the same smile on her face.

Hours went by, as Juno and Haru been hard at work with the garden. "Eww Eww Eww, what the heck is this slimy thing ugh!" Juno said holding a worm in one hand.

"That's a worm silly, they help fertilize the soil." She said with a patient and gentle expression on her face.

Juno looked at her suddenly,turned away and blushed. "What the heck was that? She just smiled at me. Ugh, whatever this was probably nothing." she thought and tried to ignore this.

They continued on, in their work until the sun began to set. "That should do it, for today!" Haru said as she let out a big yawn while doing a little strech. She sat back down, and looked over to Juno. She said, "Thanks for the help, I knew a cutie like you would come through."

It took Juno a bit before realizing what Haru had said, "Waaaah?!" She said blushing all over and her heart racing suddenly.

Haru looked at her somewhat concerned.

"Oh, uhhh...it was nothing. I don't mind helping out when you need me. You're cute too." She said without realizing. And she tried to she tried to stop herself from blushing by covering her face and her tail started to wag violently.

Haru said, "Hey hey, be careful you're kicking up dust all over!"

"Oh, I'm sorry I just got a little... uhhh..." Juno says while being flustered.

Haru smiles and placed her hand on Juno's shoulder. "It's okay, I know what you want." She winks and walks over to the gardening shed and beckons Juno over.

Juno is heart is still racing and no words are coming out of her mouth no matter how hard she tries. Her throat tightens and she desperately tries to get up but feels almost paralyzed.

Haru walks over to her, and whispers, "It's okay, we can just cuddle." And Juno looks up to her and kisses her. She furiously licks her cute rabbit mouth, but suddenly stops. Haru is stunned and blushes.

"Oh my god, why did I just do that?! I'm sorry...I don't know if I should go through with this...I mean I like you...I mean I shouldn't be..." Just as she was about to finish saying something, Haru grabs her delicate wolf hands. And tells her, "It's all right, you don't have to fight who you are. Don't worry, I'll teach you."

They go into to the shed......
