I saw you when you saw nothing. You looked into the darkness ahead of you. You looked focused and awake, but not in a world where I was a part of. You didn't notice me, but that didn't matter. Your eyes were clear, your face was sharp and your lips were dry. You were perfect, but I don't think you knew. I don't think you cared.
