Back at Hogwarts for the last time (10)

Alana woke up just in time to go back to hogwarts. Trouble is she has to go without Draco. "I really wish you could stay here longer." Draco says in her neck. "Me too. But before I leave I need to tell you something I've already told my parents this and they're going to do the same when the time comes. We are fighting on the other side." "You mean..." "Yes we are going on Potters side." "Why are you telling me this?" "So you don't hate me later." "Why would I hate you?" "Because I know you can't choose between me and your family."

"Alana. Let's go." Her father says. Once they are out of sight of the manor and other death eaters they make a plan. "So we'll alert the Order about you and they'll tell the kids at the school they'll most like send out a boy named Neville Longbottom. I assume you've met him." "Yeah we were friends." They get to the Hogwarts gates. "If one of us don't make it out alive. I love you both." "We love you too Lana." And her parents leave.

By the time that Snape finishes his speech, Neville caught up to Alana. "This way." They run to The room of Requirement. Then Seamus spoke up. "Have you and your parents really changed?" "Yes we have." "Do you have a Dark Mark?" "No I don't." "Prove it show us your left arm." She lifts up her sleeves and nothing is there. Some of the went to sleep. While others stayed up afraid Alana would kill them in their sleep.

The next day

Saying that Alana was annoyed is an understatement. Amycus and Alecto wanted to teach the 7th years the Cruciatus Curse but on first years. Neville and Alana wouldn't do it so they got punished. But of course Alana got the worse. They used her as an example. "Crucio." She fell on her back in pain and her screams of agony.

After class finished Neville helped Alana to get back to the Room of Requirement. "Guys I'll be back. Look after her." Neville goes through the painting. "Neville? You look..." "like hell I reckon. This is nothing. Seamus and Alana got it worse." "Alana? She's at hogwarts?" "Yeah. She and her parents are on our side now."

"Don't remember this on the marauders map." "That's because it never existed till now. The seven secret passages were sealed off before the start of the year. This is the only way in or out now. The grounds are crawling with Death eaters and Dementors." "How bad is Snape as headmaster?" Hermione asks. "Hardly ever see him. It's the Carrows you need to watch out for." "Carrows?" "Yeah. Brother and Sister. In charge of discipline. They like punishment, the Carrows." "They did that to you? Why?" "Today's dark arts lesson had us practicing the Cruciatus curse. On first years. Alana and I refused. They did this to me but they used the curse on her. Hogwarts has changed." They get to the end.

"Let's have a bit of fun, shall we?" He opens the door. "Hey, listen up, you lot. Brought you a surprise." "Not more of Aberforths cooking, I hope. Be a surprise if we can digest it." Neville smirks and turns to reveal the Trio.

Everyone stands up and cheers. "What's the plan, Harry?" "Okay. There's something we need to find. Something hidden in the castle. And it may help us defeat You-Know-Who." "Right. What is it?" "We don't know." "Where is it?" Dean asks. "We don't know that either. I realise it's not much to go on." "That's nothing to go on." "I think it has something to do with Ravenclaw. It'll be small, easily concealed. Anyone have any ideas?" "Well, there's Rowena Ravenclaws lost diadem. Lost diadem of Ravenclaw? Hasn't anyone heard of it? It's quite famous." "Yes, but, Luna, it's lost, for centuries now. These isn't a person alive today who's seen it." Cho tells her.

"Excuse me. Can someone tell me what a bloody diadem is?" "It's a sort of a crown, like a tiara." Alana tells him. Then Ginny comes in. "Snape knows. He knows that Harry was spotted in Hogsmeade. He wants us to come to the great hall."

They all get to the great hall into houses. "Many of you are surely wondering why I have summoned you at this hour. It's come to my attention that earlier this evening Harry Potter was sighted in Hogsmeade. Now. Should any student or staff, attempt to aid Mr.Potter they will be punished in a manner consistent with the severity of their transgression. Furthermore any person found to have knowledge of these events who fails to come forward will be treated as equally guilty. Now then if anyone here has any knowledge of Mr Potter's movements this evening I invite them to step forward now."

Then Harry steps forward. "It seems, despite your exhaustive defensive strategies you still have a bit of a security problem, headmaster. And I'm afraid it's quite extensive." The Order plus Alana's parents enter the Great hall. "How dare you stand where he stood? Tell them how it happened that night. Tell them how you looked him in the eye, a man who trusted you, and killed him." Snape pulled out his wand but Mcgonagall stood in for Harry.

Then Snape left through the window. "Coward!" She yelled. Then Voldemort's voice could be heard for the different students. "I know that many of you will want to fight. Some of you may even think that to fight is wise. But this is folly. Give me Harry Potter. Do this and none shall be harmed. Give me Harry Potter and I shall leave Hogwarts untouched. You have one hour. Now The Godfreys I speak to only you now. You betrayed me there will be no mercy." Then his voice disappeared.

"What are you waiting for? Someone grab him." Pansy says pointing at Harry. Everyone gathered round him. Including the Godfreys. Alana looks to Blaise, he glares at her.
"Students out of bed! Students out of bed! Students in the corridor!" "They're supposed to be out of bed you, blithering idiot." "Oh. Sorry ma'am." "As it happens, Mr. Filch, your arrival is most opportune. If you would, I would like you please to lead Miss Parkinson and the rest of Slytherin House from the hall." "Exactly where is is I'll be leading them to, ma'am?" "The dungeons would do." Everyone claps and cheers.

"Alana." She hears two voices. "Fred, George. It's good to see you guys again." She gives them a hug. "Miss Alana, I need you and your parents to come with me." McGonagall tells her. They follow her. "I know you all know this spell we need to create a barrier around the castle." They nod and go to different parts of the castle. "Protego Maxima. Fianto Duri. Repello Inimicum." Every adult says the spells and makes a huge barrier.

They all look up and see the spells hitting the barrier. "Now the war begins." Alana's father says to her.
