It was time to finally tell robin the truth. He couldn't let Rudolph get away with the terrible crime that Wally knew he had committed.

Wally took a deep breath and then spilled everything.

He told robin about how drunk his dad got and what he did when he was, he told him about how he knew he'd hurt his mother and he also told him about how he saw him bury her in the garden and had threatened Wally.

When it was over, he finally looked up from his shoes to see robin's horrified face.

"What do you want to do?" Robin asked quietly.

Wally sighed deeply and felt a tear run down his face. "I don't know Rob. I really don't."

Robin's face set determinedly.

"We should tell Batman. You can stay at the mansion while we sort it out so you don't even have to go near him. We'll get the best lawyers on the case and he'll go to prison forever for what he's done to your mum Wally."

Wally felt conflicted.

"But he's my dad robin! I still love him even though... And I'm sure he still loves me. He has to. It's all my fault-"

"No Wally!" Robin interrupted. "Honest to god it's not your fault. You're just a kid-"

"A kid with superspeed! I could have done something! I could have saved her!"
Wally was now openly sobbing.

Robin crossed the room and placed his hand on Wally's arm.

With a soft look on his face robin hugged him.
"You're still just a kid Wally. All of us are, even though we fight baddies every day. It's not your fault. It's your dad's."

Wally hugged robin back and cried into his shoulder.

"We're going to sort this out Wally."

After letting Wally cry for a while, which admittedly felt good after having to keep everything bottled up, Robin went to talk to batman.

He came back a few minutes later and led Wally out to a different zeta pad which deposited them at the Wayne mansion.
Already Wally was feeling better and free from his father.

He and robin played video games and ate Alfred's cookies and by the end of the night Wally was laughing like nothing had happened.

While eating dinner, Wally heard the news say something like Rudolph. Placing his full attention on it he heard a report:

"Breaking news! About an hour ago the police reviewed an anonymous tip linked to the disappearance of Mary West, mother and wife who went missing a few days ago. The tip resulted in the search of the family's home and unearthed a gruesome discovery. In the garden was buried Mary West's body. Her husband, Rudolph West has been arrested tonight. Tune in later for further news..."

Wally felt a massive weight float off his shoulders. He turned to robin and smiled and thought to himself,

Everything was going to be fine.
