I don't know why I thought it would be a good idea to bring Tay and Earth into the hospital to see my dad, but I haven't seen my dad for quite a long time. And wasn't going to pass up on the chance for him to see Tay.

"Wow New I can't wait to see your dad!" - Earth

"Oh um thanks" man Earth is a really friendly guy

We finally reached my dad's room

"Dad" ....

"Boo!" - Dad "Argh!, oh my god what's wrong with you" of course I wasn't actually scared, my dad did this to me every time I visited him at the hospital...everyday. Tay and Earth were very surprised by my reaction to dad.

"Singto? I told you not to play to much under the sun, look how dark you got. But gotta say boy you do look handsome with the tan. And oh my god Gun! Last time I saw you, you were still shorter than me. You grew so much since going to the elite school.

"Dad...he isn't Singto he is our friend Earth, and he isn't Gun he is Tay"

"Is Tay not your friend?"

"Huh..um he is"

"Then why didn't you say it?" then dad slid to me trying to be secretive even though Earth and Tay were just few inches away from us.

"Is he your boyfriend? Is that why you didn't say he was your friend"

"Dad!"

"You are right Dad. Isn't it Snow?" I am about to kill him right now. Will..maybe I won't have to Earth looks like he's mentally already in the process of killing him with his eyes.

"Really, son? You should have gone for the tan handsome one?" Okay kill me now please

"Uncle, don't worry? I'll try my best to make him mine" Apparently that turned the dead Tay to become alive to take his revenge from his murderer.

"Unfortunately, phx that won't be happening. But don't worry your son is very handsome I don't think we'll have any problems making beautiful grandchildren for you" Did this guy never learned about the human body or what

"Oh son I am just joking of course you are handsome also. I don't doubt that you guys would make handsome grandchildren"

"Okay dad I think we should talk about something else now"

"Okay where is my special lunch" No no nooo How did I forget to bring my dad his lunch! I am such a bad son, what will I tell him?!

"Of course we would come dad, New doesn't think we are family enough to visit our dad but we beg to differ" - Gun

"Dad, he's handsome and...HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" Great to add salt into my injury everyone started laughing with smirking Tay.

Seeing New's dad always makes me feel warmer inside. He may not be able to provide for New anymore but he's someone that can be looked up at. I would give anything to have a father like him.

"What are you staring at?" - Singto

"How can you see me while zoning out?" - Krist

"It doesn't matter" - Singto

"What?"

"Wanna start a family together?" I want to slap him so hard sometimes

"I don't think it's technically fooling around if you are the only one"

"Hey when are you going to make me meet your family? We didn't see them yesterday either?"

"Why don't you want them to meet me?"

"I was 4 years old when he got fired from his 5th job for being lazy again. My mae would bare everything with a smile. She ended up working as a housekeeper to earn some money"

At that moment my Pancakes started to cry, I immediately went to hug him and the air ended up being quite and numb again.

"He wasn't able to bear that his wife was earning money while no one accepted him for work. Soon he started hanging out with his college friends that he had promised my mom never to see, after... they had tried to sexually harass her. He started to excessively drink alcohol again. At first they paid for his drinks, but after they refused him, he started to bother my mae for money. One time she refused because she was saving up for my birthday gift and *sniff he beat her...he beat her black and blue. But she still bared it for me. Until..until he brought one of his friend to to the house. I was playing in the living room when his friend offered him $500 to sleep with my mom. I still remember seeing the disgusting smile on his face seeing the bill"

He started to cry again and I hugged him even tighter. I wanted to say something comforting to him but nothing came out.

"I didn't understand what that meant but my gut was telling me it was something wrong. I went to my mae and told her what I had heard. She broke down, my mae who used to always smile on every little thing had broken down. She got up and wiped her tears... went inside her closet and brought me the flute that she used to love playing for me before I went to sleep. She said to me with tears again in her eyes that he didn't love her anymore, and that he wasn't the person that she had loved either. ...And that she was sorry for being so selfish and a bad mother. I didn't understand what she meant when she was trying to say to me until until two days later."

Flashback
"Pent! Pent! Juhi's dead body was found near the lake today!! Pent I am so sorry" I thought he would've cried with me, that he would be disgusted
with himself, but instead he looked angry. When New's dad left he started to yell out about him losing his $500 because of mae. Everyday after mae's death he would scare me, and everyday I would cry thinking he was going to beat me up. Maybe god felt bad for me for once, as New's dad saw him scare me again. He ended up beating him up just as he had done once to my mother, and for the first time I didn't tear up. Soon the matter went public to our society and he was thrown out"

For the first time I realized how privileged I was. I didn't think something like this could of happened to someone in real life, especially to someone that I loved. That life wasn't all sunshine or a party.

"Pancakes, even if I get ripped out of everything that I have, long as you are with me, I won't need anything, I promise you." But he just nodded his head and lowered his eyes.

"Gun" he looked up surprised, I knew calling him by his name would make me get his attention. But I needed the attention for this.

"Will you make me the luckiest man on Earth and marry me, please, I need you more than you will ever need me. I don't want to become like your father, I love you, I can't lose you"
