You made the short journey to Jody's cabin. You knew that this was such an inconvenience for her and the girls. But of course, Jody being Jody, was happy to host you. You had been living there for two months now. Being five months pregnant with twins that aren't human is... hard to say the least.
You finally had control of your premonitions, which could've been because Jack actually talked to your babies. You felt overwhelmed by how good of a father you knew he was going to be. Now, that's not to say you haven't been completely free of premonitions, you finally saw Jack in the woods, holding the baby.
Was that comforting? Hell no. Just knowing that this was going to happen, was terrifying. "Hey honey, how's it going?" Jody asked from the doorway, while you pulled as hard as you could to button your pants. You groaned in frustration, giving up.
"I don't fit." you sighed, throwing the pants to the ground before plopping yourself down on the bed. She smiled, sitting next to you. "Twins, Jody. Twins." you said, staring at the floor. "I know, honey. You're doing great already." she encouraged.
"Really? I can't even dress myself. How am I supposed to take care of even one baby?" you ranted. "You can't dress yourself because your clothes don't fit. Come with me. I have some old maternity stuff in my closet that you can borrow." she said, leading you to the door.
"Like this?" you asked, looking down at your half buttoned flannel shirt and bare legs. "Like anyone here hasn't seen this much of you." she sassed. "Jody!" you giggled. As you know, Kaia had passed away on a hunt. After that, the other girls were pretty broken up about it. They sort of parted ways.
Of course they still visit, but they're all older than you at least. Alex and Patience moved in together, and Claire is out on her own, hunting. Jody, of course, couldn't be prouder of her girls.
"Alright. Here's a few shirts, and...." she leaned in whispering, "I'd just go with some of Jack's pants." she smiled. "Thank you, Jody." you said, your eyes welled up. "Sorry..." you laughed awkwardly. "Don't apologize. I've been there before." she told you.
You sighed, "I know. It's just, I never thought I would have another woman to talk to about this, and knowing that it's you... I'm just so thankful." you went on, wiping your stray tears. "I am pretty great." she teased. "Oh, come here." she held her arms out, which you happily proceeded to hug her back.
"Thank you." you whispered. "No problem. Not to rain on your parade, but you should probably get dressed." she smiled. "Yeah... yeah. Sorry, thank you again." you said before heading back to your room.
Taking Jody's advice, you pulled one of the tops over your head, and stole a pair of Jack's pants. In your defence, he never wears that pair anyways. When you were dressed you headed into the kitchen, where everyone was already up. "Good morning." you said, causing everyone to stop what they were doing and look at you.
"It's rude to stare, you know." you said after a second. "Sorry, Y/N. You just look..." Sam trailed off. "Pregnant? Fat?" you finished. "No, that shirt looks nice on you." he saved himself. "Mhmm..." you hummed, continuing to get some water. "So, when will you find out the genders?" Donna asked, changing the subject, which thank goodness.
"Well..." you started, but we're interrupted by Jack coming up behind you. He wrapped his arms around your body, you giggled in response. "Good morning." he said, before softly kissing your lips. "Good morning." you replied as he let you go, he took your cup from you and filled it. "Thanks. Okay, what was I saying? I swear, I can't keep a single thought straight." you smiled to the floor.
No one answered. You looked around to see everyone's expressions. Sam was holding his fork to his mouth, but was staring in shock. Dean looked disgusted, and Jody and Donna were absolutely swooning. "Oh, right. Um, the genders." you remembered, then everyone resumed.
