I grab my bag and rush out the door.
Tom's POV: I can't wait to see y/n today. She makes me feel happy. Today I want to ask her to be my girlfriend. I really like her and she's opened up a lot, the past 3 months.
I walk into school seeing her at her locker. I take a deep breath and walk up to her.
"Hey" I greet the most stunning girl I've ever met. "Hey Tom" she says in a miserable tone. "What's wrong?" I ask her "I have to tell you something..." she says "I have to as well, but you go first" I say intrigued on what's she going to tell me. "I think we should call things off between us and stay friends." She says
My face fell. What? But I thought everything was going fine. What did I do?
"Uhh... ok. Did I do something though?" I ask confused. "No it's not you it's me." She says with teary eyes.

"What were you going to tell me?" She asks trying to change the subject "Uhhh... I Uhh... I'm working tonight..." I said trying to cover up what I was really going to ask her. "Oh... same... we work everyday lol" she says confused. I look at the ground trying not to cry. There was awkward silence for 2 mins until y/n breaks it. "Anyways I have to get to class..." she says leaving the awkward silence.
