To most people in the world, (L/n) (Y/n) and Shinso Hitoshi would seem like the oddest hero pairing in the world. (Y/n) was always extroverted and upbeat, while Shinso was more of an introvert. (Y/n) was so confident while saving people and dealing with the media while Shinso struggled during interviews. Despite this, however, they worked as a pair, making it into the top ten and taking down villains together.
(Y/n)—better known by her hero name, Kineta—was very popular among the citizens of Japan. She always had a reassuring smile on her face and a positive light in her beautiful (e/c) eyes that seemed to make any situation that she was in seem better. Her presence was an immediate comfort to anyone in danger. Her hero costume consisted of a flexible pastel yellow bodysuit that had white stripes going down the side. Her hands donned a pair of white fingerless gloves. On her head, she wore something similar to a motorcycle helmet, complete with a high-tech visor—an item crucial for her quirk.
(Y/n) had the ability to manipulate energy, ranging from light energy to heat energy, even including potential and kinetic energy. Despite the strength of her quirk, the drawbacks made it hard to use. Whenever she used it, small portions of her own energy, in addition to whatever energy source she was manipulation, was used. If she wasn't careful, she could quickly run out of stamina. Her visor displayed her energy and stamina levels so that she could make sure that she didn't run out, especially when in the middle of a fight. Therefore, in addition to training her quirk, (Y/n) also had to focus on her physical training. If there came a time that she couldn't use her quirk, she had to make sure she was strong and agile enough to defend herself.
On top of her energy manipulation quirk, she had one other. It was one that she tended not to use unless absolutely necessary. She had the power of quirk resistance. This allowed her to extremely resistant to emitter quirks and lessened the impact of transformation and mutation quirks. For example, if someone with a fire quirk tried to burn her with a punch, she would still feel the impact of the blow, but the fire wouldn't burn her. Despite this, she typically avoided using it because of its primary drawback. Bad luck. The more she used it, the more her luck would go down. This had gotten her into some pretty bad situations, especially during prolonged villain fights. This, however, is what made her and Shinso close.
They trained together a lot when Shinso was transferred to the hero course. Through this training, they discovered that when Shinso used his brainwashing quirk on her, the bad luck seemed to disappear. They also learned that Shinso's quirk could overpower her quirk resistance with her consent. Instead of just needing a response, all she had to do was agree to give control of herself over to Shinso when the situation got dire.
Therefore, the connection between them grew. Once they both earned their hero licenses, they decided to remain as a team. They quickly grew in popularity and was known as one of the best heroic teams of all time. The public adored them. This, however, also caused rumors to fly. Many people speculated that they were secretly dating, but whenever it was brought up in an interview, (Y/n) would just laugh and shake her head, showing off her beautiful smile. Shinso, however, would turn bright red without fail. He couldn't deny the fact that he wished he was in a relationship with her. All he could picture sometimes was her in his arms, her adorable smile directed at him and her sparkling (e/c) eyes looking into his own. He would imagine pushing her soft (h/c) hair out of her face, his hand cupping her (s/c) cheek as he leaned down, pressing his lips onto hers. He would imagine her blushing and giggling like a schoolgirl when he spoiled her. When questions about their relationship status came up, he would think about her sheepishly turning red before saying that they were in a relationship. Then, he would lean over and kiss her, showing off to the whole world that she was his. He grinned at the thought of all the jealous fanboys crying over the fact that she would no longer be available. She would be his.
