"Hey Hina?"
"Hm?"
"Do you ever look up there and just think, what if I could just reach up and grab one of those stars?" The young 20 year old Naruto asked. They were at the local Konoha park laying in the grass and enjoying the beautiful night sky.
"Not that I can remember." She said giggling a bit.
"But when I was a little girl I use to connect the dots using my finger and try to make a shape." Naruto looked at her then back at the sky and tried exactly that. He closed one eye and focused on the bright dots in front of his finger.
"What are you making?" She asked watching his finger wave around.
"I don't know, I'm not as creative as you. Maybe a smilie face?" He said then smiled at her. She couldn't help but smile at how adorable he was. She started to giggle and looked away not able to control her laughing.
"Hey what's so funny?" Naruto sounded a little butt hurt.
"Nothing your just so cute." She reached a hand out and caressed his cheek. Naruto looked a little shell shocked and blushed. His heart was probably beating 30 beats faster. She felt him lay his muscular hand on top of hers and held it tight. He then kissed it and smiled.
"Thanks for spending this night with me Hinata. I had a great time. You always know what to talk about show me new things everyday like tonight looking at the stars. I haven't done that since I was a little kid." Now it was her turn to blush. He man sat up and scratched his head. Holding his arm out to help up his woman she was red faced. They stood up together and soon Hinata began to realize it was getting cold outside.
"Your welcome Naruto." Naruto noticed her small shivers instantly and took his jacket off quick. He wrapped it around her and she insisted on giving it back.
"Oh no sweetie its yours take it." She said but the stubborn head ninja said no. He put it back on her and smiled.
"I want you to wear. Not only because your cold but you look good with my jacket on." He smirked and she couldn't help but smile wide.
"Thank you for being the amazing man you are. You light up a room with that handsome smile of yours." He placed his hands on her hips and pulled her in close to him. Hinata the smaller being laid her head up against his chest taking a big breath in.
"I love you Hinata."
"I love you too Naruto."
