"Did you really need all of all stuff if you're only staying here for a week" Tegan carried three bags, none of them being her's, as Dakota followed her inside carrying nothing. "It's not that much, it's some clothes, my ring gear and my ps4" "all in separate bags?" "Yep" Dakota sat down on the couch putting her feet up on the coffee table, Tegan rolled her eyes "make yourself at home I guess" she sat down next Dakota on and watched captain marvel.
Later that night Dakota went to have a shower and Tegan watched TV. Tegan heard noises coming from the bathroom and ran to it, realizing that she was too late when she saw Dakota standing there with a bottle of pills. "Would you like to explain yourself" Tegan couldn't tell if Dakota's face was one of anger, sadness, disappointment or a mixture of all three, but she could tell that her eyes were starting to tear up.
"Dakota, look I-I promise you that I only use those when my knees hurt" "yeah, I've heard you use that excuse before, how did you even get them?" "I-I s-stole them". "YOU WHAT" Dakota's face went bright with anger as Tegan looked down at the ground avoiding eye contact "look..." "NO, you look here, did you not think about if someone saw you do it and what would happen afterwards" "I need them" "no you don't".
Dakota unscrewed the cap of the bottle and was about to pour the pills in the toilet when Tegan went to grab it but Dakota pushed her back "just give me them" "the only way I'll give them to you is if you're the one who does it" Tegan looked at Dakota for a few seconds before nodding. Dakota cautiously handed Tegan the pills and moved out of her way, Tegan looked down at the bottle before letting out a sigh and poured the pills out into the toilet.
Dakota gave her a hug from behind "I promise this was the right thing to do, none of us want to see you the way you were last" Tegan gave her a nod and a fake smile, Dakota gave her a pat on her shoulder before leaving to the living room. Tegan looked down at the pills floating in the toilet before letting out another sigh before slowly flushing them away.
