Chapter 7 - UA sports festival

oohhh boy am I ready for this.
I'm sorry for leaving this a while but after I read that last chapter I thought it was kinda cringy. But hopefully this will be better.

I've waited.

I've waited so long.

Just for this one chance to show the world just how strong I am.

I remember that day, when I was with midoriya. I felt alive for the first time. Well since that day most of the class has been acting wierd towards me. By that I mean instead of glaring hatefully at me they now, smile. I, well, I don't know how to feel. I was lost in thought until present mic calls out something about class 1-a. So We are all about to walk on to the field as class 1-a because the author is TOO FREAKING LAZY TO WRITE THE BUILD UP.

(A/N) Noo my 4th wall.

The joyous festivities surrounding this festival, the fans, the cheering, the "community spirit". All of it, makes me sick. But I can hear the crowd erupt into cheats as they walk out onto the field. But I don't care. It's my time to shine. But as my figure is met with the light of day, the cheers that filled the stadium dispersed into small murmurs and occasional yells. One again, I didn't care. In fact, I had planned on this happening, but with more hateful comments.
Everything went smoothly other than bakugou offending everyone. Anyway midnight called out the first event which was an obstacle race. Everybody got ready and once we heard the word GO, all hell broke loose. I was able to get out of the tunnel amongst others but something was going to happen, I could feel it. I looked around and saw ice coming at me. I jumped to avoid it and did so successfully. Others however, not so much. We came upon the first obstacle which was a bunch of robots I've never seen before in my life. I guess it didn't matter though as I saw ice approaching them. Ah I know who it is now, Todoroki. I ran past and was now neck and neck with Todoroki as we came upon 'the fall' and I don't really know how to describe it. I was about to go but I couldn't move. I looked down and saw that everything but my head was frozen.
"Sorry, but I can't let you beat me." I turned my head to her.YOU SCOUNDREL. I thought. I was stuck as I watched everyone pass me. This was it, my one chance, ruined. I was so angry I could see steam coming off myself, wait what. Oh wow, I was steaming.
(New quirk update, when your hands steam it is a sign that your trying to use your power while your gloves are on. You can but if you do it with the gloves on too many times then they will break.)

I could feel the power enter me, finally I could break free. The sounds of ice breaking could be heard as shards flew everywhere. People stopped and looked at me as the steam slowly stopped. I could feel something inside of me. As if my power is shifting. Oh now my legs are steaming.

(Quirk update, you can redirect your power to other parts of your body e.g. your legs/feet which will give you a boost while running.)

I readied myself for what was about to happen. My feet pushed against the earth as it shook slightly, this propelled me into the air as I flew straight over 'the fall' and the students climbing across it. I looked down and saw everyone staring at me in awe. That's right, look up to me, I'm superior. I felt my feet smash against the floor at the other end and ran forward. By now I could see bakugou and Todoroki fighting while racing and midoriya doing something with the mines and a piece of metal, I really didn't care though because, my eyes were set on the finish line. I charged my power in my feet and flew over the minefield. I saw Todoroki and Bakugou look at me flying past until,

BANG

From behind us, midoriya flew past them. I was just about to get there, I was just about to finish but she beat me to it.
