After Amy got the rude comment from Knuckles she stormed off the island upset about was he said but she could attack him with her piko piko hammer without hurting her "love" who was napping on his lap
Everyone else just took a seat around Knuckles and they all started chatting
Till Silver pointed out "Sonic looks so much more peaceful napping right now than he has ever look when napping" this drew the attention to the sleeping hedgey in Knuckles lap that he was petting
"Your right Faker does seem more peaceful which I weird, why would this happened to be Echidna" Shadow spoke as he turn his gaze to Knuckles
"Simple it's because he's not on high alert incase of an attack on others or himself, he know he doesn't have to worry about that on the island with me, I can protect him... He can let his guard down"
"He doesn't let his guard down around me when he naps though" Tails said eyes down cast a bit only for his head to be pat, he looks up to see Knuckles was the one to pay his head "course he wouldn't he needs to be ready incase u hurt yourself during your inventing or someone trys to hurt you after all your his baby brother, he doesn't want to lose anymore family"
Tails smiles and sheepishly rubs the back of his neck "Right I guess I do worry him enough for him to want to keep his eye on me, has been for the past 4 years"

Knuckles shifts and decided to correct him "actually Tails I've know Sonic the longest I met him when he was 13" Tails shakes his head "No because I met him when he was 11 Knuckles and he's now 15"  Shadow makes a confused face as he says "What are you Talking about Fox Kit, Faker's 18" Knuckles sighs hearing these answers before saying "he's not 15 or 18 he's 25 but I guess this is what happens when he doesn't confirm or deny when someone says what they think his age is but I've know him for 12 years back when I barely knew anything about the emeralds I hadn't found the scriptures of my people yet"

Yawns war, and the songs I would sing" Everyone looked and watched Sonic as he lays there with droopy eyes glaze with sleep as he sings some of the song no one is an island

Shadow then has to ruin the mood "What did Sonic mean by war with Robotnik, which I assume means Eggman" using Sonic's actual name do to how serious this topic was and that he wanted answers and planned to get them, Sonic and Knuckles both tense at the same time and share a glance
