In an unrecognizable past

I was first aroused by the smell of old paper. It was a comforting smell. Eventually soft sounds of Live by Sid, one of my favorite songs, came upon my ears. I saw a faint pale green light through closed eyes. I felt like I was being wrapped in warmth, and yet I could feel the jerking of someone carrying me.

Wait, why was someone carrying me?

I hesitantly opened my eyes, for I didn't want the deamless sleep to end. My eyes instantly locked onto another pair, the same brown eyes as mine. They belonged to a man who looked to be in his early twenties. I squinted at him, refusing to believe that he was actually real...especially with that hair color.

"Your hair is an impossible color." I said groggily, referencing the latest anime I'd been watching (Clannad). But still, it was an appropriate quote because his hair was a grayish-greenish color. With well defined eyebrows and lips that looked oh-so kissable, I had to finally pry my gaze away to look at where the hell this guy was taking me.

All around me was nothing but opaque backrounds that stretched on forever. Occasionally we would pass a floating hologram of memories I had as a child. Me, my mom, and my dad all together in one place eating dinner, laughing and talking about our day. Like a normal family. Scenes of me and my old friend Ritchie...of my cousins and I...all good memories that made me feel at ease.

After a while of getting carried around by a strange man through a flood of memories, I tried talking to him again. "So...where am I?"

He looked down at me, but continued to fast walk. "You're in the section of all the good in your life." He said in a soft voice. "I've already taken you passed the bad division of things. That's what you were experiencing before you blacked out."

"I don't...but why...who are you?" I faltered. There were a million things I wanted to ask him but I couldn't muster a coherent thought. So instead I asked about the only thing I could focus on at the moment, which happened to be him.

"I'm you're conscience, or your guardian angel, or your protector, or...whatever floats your boat. I'm supposed to watch over you and make sure you don't do stupid shit and whatnot."

"Hmm well you sure sound enthusiastic about it." I muttered. He seemed hurt by that comment. "Look, I think I'm pretty capable of walking."

"You don't even know where we're going." He said as we passed a scene of me on my first birthday with blue cake frosting on my face. He had a point- I had no effing idea where we were yet alone where we were going. Wait, since when did I have to trust a stranger though? Yea, he said he was my gaurdian angel or whatever, but for all I knew, he was taking me to his secret lair to rape me and then...

Meh. Whatever, he seemed legit. So I just let him carry me to wherever our destination was XP. "So...if your my gaurdian angel, then you should know me pretty well right? I mean I guess that means you've been watching over me since I was born."

"Oh, Rina, I probably know you better than anyone else. As your angel, I'm also the being most like you."

"SO YOU LIKE MAO FROM SID!?" I screamed in his ear, mouth watering already.

"Ahh uhmm maaah~~~uhhrah d-dont push it." He said, struggling with his words with a faint blush on his face. How cute, he has a man crush.

"Hahaha just pulling your leg. So what am I supposed to call you?"

"Like a name? Mmm well I dont have one."

"WHAT?!" this gorgeous man angel conscience thing didn't have a name? Well that had to change."

"Tell you what, you can name me after we get you situated in the tower. We've finally reached our destination."
