(Marlie's POV)
Flushing the toilet I went straight to the sink. Morning sickness is certainly no joke. After brushing my teeth I got on the rest of my uniform. Thankfully it hid the bump perfectly. I wasn't ashamed of the baby but it didn't make for friendly chatter. I grabbed my phone before rushing out to the living room to grab my keys. Leaving out the door I realized I was going to be a little early which is nice. The restaurant wasn't far from here which I'm thankful for. As it came into view I couldn't help but smile. Parking my car i rushed into the building and saw my friend, Christian. He smiled at me which I returned.
"Hey!" I exclaimed as he came over and hugged me.
"Hey, how's the bundle of joy?" He asked happily. We walk back towards the kitchen so I can clock on and get what I need.
"Growing and perfect." I said tying my apron.
"Have you told them yet?" He asked quietly.
"No, they are going to kick me out. My dad is the mayor for God's sake." I said gently.
"You don't know that for sure and besides you can't hide that bump forever. Besides you can stay with one of us if that happens." He said supportively. They all support me. They all know even my boss.
"I just don't know how to tell them. I can't even find him. It's a lot harder to tell them without the father." I said grabbing my pen and pad.
"Relax it will work out. If you want I can go with you. You just can't do this alone at 17." He said before we hit the floor. Time to work now. This is gonna be a long shift.
[Time Skip]
We lock up the store before leaving to our cars. Thankfully no one from school come here. That would be rough.
"Marlie!" Christian called for me. I turned and he put something in my hand. Looking I saw it was a piece of paper with everyone's address and it said if you need anywhere to go you know where to find us.
"Christian you didn't have to do this. Thank you it's very sweet." I said before hugging him.
"I told you. We have your back." He said before releasing me from the hug.
"Thank you. I will see you tomorrow." I said before getting into my car and start my drive home. It was nice to have good co workers. As I pulled up to the driveway I felt something was off. Getting out of the car with keys and phone in hand I approached the house with caution. It felt abnormal almost. I open the front door and nothing seemed wrong. As I walked in further I see mom and dad on the ground unconscious. Rushing to them there was no blood but it still didn't make any sense.
"Relax they are just sleeping." He said from behind me.
"Why did you do this? A phone call would've worked." I said standing up.
"I already know what you're going to say. It was a mistake I made that night."
"So why did you come here? There is nothing here for you anymore." I said finally facing him. He still looked like he did that night. He was perfect but he didn't want me.
"Oh yes there is. You are coming with me. Willing or not." He said walking towards me.
"No. Leave me alone. You said it yourself. It was a mistake." I spat. He chuckled.
"Sleeping with you was the mistake. The baby you carry is not." He said before someone grabbed me. I struggled against them but I couldn't. They were too strong.
"Dont make it harder than it has to be." He said walking over to me.
"Please dont. I'm not going to bother you. Please." I begged him as I struggled to get away.
"Relax your just going to take a small nap." He said before I felt a prick in my side and the world slowly went dark.
