Scorching Love (Portgas D. Ace x Reader) Part 2

You ignored Ace the whole day and pack your things when night falls. But before you leave the ship, you bid farewell to your father and closest brother Marco.

"Do you really have to leave-yoi?" Marco ask you in a sad tone. "You already know the answer Marco-nii, but don't worry I'll be back before you know I promise." (Y/N) raised her pinky finger and intertwined it with Marco's pinky. "Fine, it's a promise."

"Yup, seal with a kiss." You stood up and kiss the Phoenix on his left cheek which made Marco chuckle and mess with your hair. "Geez, you're like a child stuck in an adult's body. But never the less I'm going to miss your childishness." His statement made you gruff and whine. "Marco-nii, rude! I'm not a child anymore. Stop treating me like one. I'm going now, see you soon."

You start to walk through the door stomping like a lost little girl. "See? You're acting like one. Anyway, take care lil sis. I love you-yoi." That made you smile. "I will. Love you too Marco-nii."

Walking on the hallway of the Moby Dick while humming a song (Y/N) decided that she would say goodbye to Ace too. After a few minutes she stop in front of his room and twisted the knob. "Shock was evident on her face when she saw the once tidy and clean room turned into a battered and messy shit. The curtain and bed sheets are torn into pieces, the pristine vase was broken, a barrel of sake was also spilled on the floor, his clothes are burned. Probably because of his devil fruit powers, Ace ate the Mera Mera no Mi after all. And there he is sleeping on the bed.

You sigh and started to fix the messed up room. While picking up the vase's scattered pieces you talk, eve though you know that he can't hear you because he's asleep.

"Geez, you made a mess again Ace. How're you suppose to sleep peacefully with these? You're ridiculous! Be sure to fix everything before you sleep next time 'kay?

You told him like a parent scolding her child. But Ace is not asleep, he's wide awake and listening to you.

"Man, you're a hopeless dude. Anyway I just came here to say goodbye. Even tho you cheated on me, I still love you. You're not easy to forget and you know that. Oh, and don't forget to take care of yourself okay? I won't be by your side to take care of you anymore. Tsk. You're so reckless every damn time, get a hold of yourself Fire Face. I hope that you're happy and satisfied with your decision. Gaaaaaah, it's getting late! I need to go, I love you Ace. See you when I see you." You smiled and kiss him for the last time. "Goodbye Ace." After you walk out of the room Ace's tears run down his freckled face. He regretted everything that he did. From the time that he started acting cold towards you and ignoring you up to the extent of cheating behind your back with Jewelry Bonney. He regretted it, to the point that his anger to himself drove him mad inside and out. You were a perfect girlfriend, he couldn't ask for more. But like Marco said he messed big time. He knew that you still love him, but he couldn't chase you because of the guilt that's stirring inside of him. The thought of losing you scared him, thus he wipe his tears  and think for a moment.

'Don't worry (Y/N) I won't mess up again this time. I promise I'll fix everything, just wait for me."
