My end

I dont cut for attention
If i did i would show them
Have you ever seen my real scars?
...Nobody has

The cuts on my arms are weak
The ones on my thighs,
Lets just say they hurt
But my ankles could die

The burn marks
They werent an accident
The words i carved
They remain hidden

Do you wonder why
you have never seen my thighs
Well some things,
They remain unspoken

The day i show them
Is the day i die
But even then
I shall hide

The secrets in my head
The voices i hear
They scare me to death
But that doesn't matter

You can't hear them
So they don't bother you
Why would you care
About someone like me

You wouldn't know
the things they say
They kill me
They really try

To be beautiful
Its impossible
To be skinny
You cant eat

To be perfect
you're too flawed
To be accepted
Give it up

Nobody needs you
Nobody likes you
Nobody will notice if you die
So why not commit

One cut
Two cut
Make it three
Maybe four

But not one more
Otherwise
You'll be dead
On the floor

But wait
Thats what you want
so make your
Last final cut

Nobody cared right
Except your friends
Nobody loved you
But your siblings needed you

Nobody liked you
Except that one kid
Who can never tell you
He regrets it now

Nobody noticed?
Lets correct that
Everybody noticed you
They just didn't know

They didn't know
That you were depressed
Or that you wanted to die
But would they have cared?

That answer is no
Nobody notices the signs
Before you're dead
But once you die

They start to think
They start to wonder
Did they even know
Your name?

Did they know you?
Did they know anything?
No because they didn't care to
They didn't want to

So now you're on the floor
You only took some pills
and cut your veins
But that was enough

You can hear the ambulence
And your mother's screams
The paramedics know you're done for
But they won't say it

They rush you to the hospital
They bandage you up
And pump your stomach
Most hope you'll live

But Your wish is to not wake up
The doctor looks at you
And says
"Your wish has come true"

You whisper "Thank you"
As He shuts your eyes
And pulls a blanket over your head
He pronouced you dead

You finally did it
You're finally gone
No one can hurt you now
You're safe

But when the doctor
tells your mom and dad
You feel their hearts break
You were their first kid

On the ride home
Your mom blames herself
And your dad is broken
Can they really live without you?

Your room isn't touched
Your name is unspoken
Your suicide left them dead
But they didn't forget you

They'll never forget you
