Holland POV

Me, Will, Mike and El were standing in front of Dustin (El hanging onto one of Mike's  arm and Will having his arm around my waist) while he was showing us all of the stuff he made at camp "I call it.. the forever clock" he said as he pulled something that looked like a windmill object and handed it to Will "all right? Powered by wind, very useful in the apocalypse" then he continued "then I give you the slammer" he grabbed a hammer machine looking thing (like the one in the Simpsons and the Gremlins, I just had to point it out there) which started to rumble and vibrate.

He handed it towards Mike and El who backed away from it, Dustin chuckled "pretty neat huh? But this.. this is my masterpiece" he said while he zipped the duffle bag open "I would like you to meet... Cerebro" (like from X-men?). Inside of the bag was filled with a lot and I mean a lot of wires.

"What exactly are we looking at?" Mike asked confused "an unassembled, one-of-a-kind battery-powered radio tower!" Dustin said proudly "so, its a... a ham radio" Will concluded. "The Cadillac of ham radios this baby carriers a crystal-clear connection over vast distance. I'm talking North Pole to South, I can talk to my girlfriend whenever and wherever I choose" Dustin finished.

All of our eyes widened "GIRLFRIEND!?" we all yelled but Dustin just grinned widely and grabbed the duffel bag "wait, so her name is Suzie?" Mike asked "Suzie with a Z, she's from Utah" Dustin responded "girls go to science camp?" Will asked, I turned to give him a 'are you serious look' and he put his hands up in defence "Suzie does, she's a genius" "well I would love to meet, Dust" I said "is she cute?" Mike asked "think Phoebe Cates but hotter" Dustin replied to him, we passed the front hallway "what's going on?" Max asked/called out "going to talk to Dustin's girlfriend" Will said to her "GIRLFRIEND!?" both Max and Lucas called out.

We were walking up the highest hill in HAWKINS because to Dustin its the only way that 'Cerebro' works "aren't we high enough yet?" Lucas asks "Cerebro works best at a hundred meters" Dustin responded "you know, I'm pretty sure people in Utah have telephones" Max said "yeah but Suzie's Mormon" "oh, shit she doesn't have electricity?" Lucas asks again "that's the amish" Max replied to him "what are Mormons?" Will asked from beside me "super religious white people. They have electricity and cars and stuff but... since I'm not Moromon, her parents would never approve it's all a bit... Shakespearean" Dustin replied.

"Shakespearean?" Max asked "yeah like Romeo and Juliet" "right" she said "star crossed lovers---" "I got it". "Hey guys!" Mike called out from behind us holding El's hand and we turned around "this is fun and all but, uh.." Mike started "I have to go home" El finished and they started walking away "we're almost there!" Dustin said "sorry man, curfew!" Mike yelled "come on, let's go" Mike muttered to El as they walked down the hill "Good luck!" El said.

"Curfew at 4?" Dustin asked "Exactly, they're lying" Lucas said "it's been like this all summer" Will said "it's romantic" Max added I turned to give her a nod in agreeance and she smiled back at me "it's gross" Will said My head whipped to look at him "oh come on Will, you and Holland always do that stuff when you think no one's watching" Lucas said, Will's face started to get red "w-well w-what I-I-I w-was meant to say was---" Will started but got cut of by Dustin "it's bullshit!  I just got home" he said as we watched them giggle in the distance "well, their loss right?" he said trying to be positive "onwards and upwards! Suzie awaits!" Everyone groaned.

Will's hand latched on to mine as we walked up but not for long, only for 5 seconds I felt him stop I looked at him and saw that he looked panicked "Will, come on!" Dustin yelled he started rushing up with me behind him.
