meeting

Merissa Pov.

I paced around our bedchambers and grumbled to myself.

"If you keep doing that, I'm going to have to tie you down!" Taisie shouted.

I stopped and sat in a chair by the window. I tapped my foot angrily until Taisie glared at me, a warning sign to stop that too.

"Sorry! I just can't help it! I'm so angry at what mother and father have done! We don't even get to choose if we should take it slow with these prince's!"

She sighed a loud, heavy sigh. "I know! I heard! I'm not deaf! Stop grumbling! What if they're not that bad?"

"You sound excited...You think they actually have a brain and some looks?"

Taisie nodded at my remark and looked off sarcastically, dreamy. "And they might just have some manners too!"

We giggled and I smiled for the first time in what seemed like hours. It was only 10 minutes though. "Fine! I will stop worrying. They might not be so bad after all!"

Taisie pov.

I tried to keep my cool and not look as much a fool as she did, pacing around like that! I love my sister and don't want her upset over something that will probably work out fine! We talked for a while about what our dream prince would be and what kind of horse he would have and all that stuff. It seemed to get her mind off of everything. We were laughing so hard at what the head maid's dream guy would look like when another knock on the door silenced us. It was a feminine knock, one we have too often heard before. The queen, our mother stepped in looking concerned.

"I am happy that you two can laugh at this matter. You seemed so upset about it I thought for sure you would be tying blankets together to escape through the window." She chuckled.

"I came to explain to you the situation of this arrangement and why we had to do it so quick and without warning. These prince's that you will be marrying, Prince Noal and Prince Vince, have had a tragedy happen. Their king and father has passed and their kingdom needs leadership but a prince may only become king when they have a princess to complete them. You two are young and I understand you might be upset but, they chose you two out of all the other princess's because you are known as the kindest." She paused for us to take this in.

I saw Merissa beginning to understand the situation and she seemed happier.

"Now, they will be here any minute so I suggest you get ready to meet your fiance's!"

She patted our backs and left with a twirl that spread her flowery perfume at us letting us know that she was hanging around with fairies again.

Gerroff pov.

The trip to their kingdom was long and slow. I felt like a whole year had passed us by when we finally saw it. Vince and Noal were very unamused with the sight of the castle. We stepped out of the carriage and a few fairies flew by. Must be one of the kingdoms that welcomes fairies. Ours certainly doesn't we tolerate them but that's it. i heard a dragon roar off in the distance and assumed they had those too. I love magical creatures but my parents tell me other wise. How do they know what I think? We got there and I saw two girls walk up to us. They were very pretty. One had the most pretty hair in the world. It was slightly dark brown with blue streaks. They looked natural and not faded as dyed ones would be. She had a pretty face and she was wearing an exquisite dress it was sleeve less and it went down to her knees it was midnight blue and it had sparkles that looked like stars and a black choker with a blue rose on it. Her dress matched her hair. She wasn't exactly pale or tan i say she looked like she got a bit of sun but not to much and she shined like she was touched by the moon. The tiara caught my attention as to who she was. She was the princess and fiance to my brother. Typical that he gets the pretty ones! Let's just hope she isn't as smart and nice as she seems. I don't want to be stealing her away from my brother, that would just give me a bad reputation! Not that i already don't have one.

Gallaway pov.

We finally arrived and I was ready to be greeted by squealing princess's or snoty snobs. Instead I find two very pretty girls. The one that caught my attention had a very light complexion as if she didn't see the sun too often and peachy hair that complemented her eye's. She looked like she was kissed by the sun.  She had on a dress it was sleeve less with puffy things and it was yellow to orange to black and she had on a choker that was black with a orange rose it matched the roses on her tiara. I saw her smile and I just stood there, gaping. I saw the other girl. She had very pretty brown and...blue hair. how odd. It matched her dress and she looked rather pretty as well. They walked up to us and looked like they were nervous. They curtsied to each person individually and I smiled at the warm welcome I got from miss Peachy. Vince and Noal stood up to them and grabbed their hands to bring them to their mouths and kiss. I looked away and found myself seeing Gerroff do the same. You sneaky little buggar!

Merissa Pov.

Taisie and I walked out to greet the princes i noticed she wasn't smiling not even the fake one she shows all the guests that come. I noticed my fiancé prince Noal and his younger brother prince Gallaway. Noal was wearing tight pants that were all black with a little bit of green and his shirt was of the puffy kind and it was white, his hair was a shad of black and a hint of green. Gallaway was wearing black pants with a little bit of chains and his shirt kinda looked like a more relaxed version of our school uniforms. His hair was black and a little spiky. I looked over at Taisie's fiance and saw his younger brother Gerroff was looking at her and that she was still not smiling i guess she really doesn't like the idea of getting married to complete strangers that are two years older. I turned my head back to Noal and smiled. I could see the light in all of their hearts and i just hope there wasn't a lot of darkness cause then Taisie gets a headache and in turn so do I. It gets really troubling when that happens.
