My sister and I live on the streets of Trenton always avoiding authorities and stealing food. Our town though is very strange we have great technology but no cars, we have outside markets but no grocery stores, and very good medical care but crappy police and artillery. It's odd how our town works but we get through the only bad thing is the cops are out searching every night for thieves or parentless children. Our town is not very big but is big enough to have a lot of hiding places and it is also surrounded by woods. I always watched as traders came in and out of our town through those woods for it seemed to be the only way in or out of here. (S/n) and I have been living on these streets for a year now since we lost our home. Only thing is I feel we might get caught one day so I have planned to leave this place a find another.

It's dinner time and I'm sure (s/n) is starving. "(S/n) I'm going out to get food ok I shouldn't be but 30 minutes to an hour if I see any cops" I said softly wrapping an old blanket I found around her. She nodded as I set her in the darkest corner of the rusty, abandoned building we were staying at. "If you see any cops remember don't say anything and don't move," I ordered her also giving her my tattered coat to keep her warm. She simply nodded and I smiled sweetly patting her head before I left. There doesn't seem to be any cops around which is weird but figure I better roll with it.

After walking a bit on the dark, muddy road I finally made it to the market and I pulled out my old, trusty hair clip seeing as all the food is locked up. I began popping the lock on the case of a cart that contained a nice variety of fruits. Only the best though gets chosen for my sister, so I began grabbing apples, bananas, and pears. "Next the vegetables," I told myself as I set the fruit down to pop the lock on the vegetable cart. I heard a nice clink sound as the lock came off and I opened the case. The vegetables were perfect so I grabbed some canned beans, celery, broccoli, And potatoes. Its a shame no one leaves meat out but I guess that'll just have to wait for breakfast. I held all the food in my arms as I made my way back, but I was feeling uneasy, the road was just too quiet, where are the cops?

After thirty minutes of walking I made it back to the building. I was in my own little world wondering how (s/n)'a face would light up seeing the food. Suddenly I was caught in my tracks by the sound of voices. My feet seemed to gain control of themselves and made me speed up till I was running. My body halted at the sight of men surrounding (s/n), and one crouched down holding a hand out to her but what enraged me more was they convinced her to take it 'those bastards!". In an instant the food was scattered on the ground and I was lunging at the crouched man. I took a fist full if his short brown hair and began yanking listening as the flesh began tearing like someone ripping a hole into a shirt. With that I also began repeatedly ramming my fingers into the dripping red, squishiness that were now his eyes. I hollered into his ear "DONT FUCKING TOUCH MY SISTER!". He swung himself onto his feet trying to nab me, crying in pain,"GET THE LITTLE WRETCH OFF! GET HER OFF!". The other men tried to help but ended up with my feet connecting to their faces with as much force as I could.

"(F/n), calm down maybe we should trust them", (s/n) tried to convince me. I only shot back at her "TRUST THEM!? HA, DO YOU KNOW WHERE THEY TAKE KIDS LIKE US!?! WELL IT'S NOT SOMEWHERE I WANT YOU TO BE AND IT'S NOT SOMEWHERE I WANT TO GO!" If I am getting put there I'm going with my arms swinging. (S/n) seemed afraid of how I was acting and just by looking at her I settled down. Sadly luck isn't on my side and the men took this as an advantage to pry me off and handcuff me so I couldn't hurt anyone else. The men pulled me to my feet dragging me along with my sister to where ever they were going. I kept trying to refuse to move but the men were to strong for me so I had to follow. While walking I took a glance to my right simply smirking at the scene of the brown haired man being lead with a cloth around his face. It was quite a sight, to see what I am capable of.

Irritatingly our walk is ending and we approached this large mansion-like structure that had a woman waiting out front of it. She had brunette hair in a neat bun ,with glasses, and a casual-like dress. "Hello, I am Madame Scarlett, welcome to my home for orphaned children I'm sure you will be quite comfortable here", she smiled a little too brightly. It was as if once the cops left she will beat the living daylights out if us, it was weird. The cops shoved me ahead past her and I just scowled at her, but she seemed to remain smiling which led me to know life her is gonna be hell. Why now? Why of all day did we get caught on our parents annaversary?
