 “Where are we?” I asked as soon as my feet touched ground.

“This looks familiar.” Sarah said.

We were in a strange place. There were trees, sky, bricks, and pipes- all digital.

“It’s Mario.” Miley told us.

“What were you girls expecting? Every boy likes Mario.” my brother said catching up with us.

“We need to get out before the dragon kills us.” Miley said pointing at a dragon breathing fire.

“Find a pipe.” Sarah said with a sense of urgency.

“There it is.” I shouted as I found a pipe.

“Lets go.” my brother said running towards the pipe followed by the rest of us. We went through the pipe one by one. I was the last one to go.

“Dinosaurs” Sarah said while her eyes were fixed at an egg nearby. We were in a dense forest that looked nothing like Jurassic Park. There were dinosaurs everywhere.

“Run before its mom comes.” twerp warned us.

We ran as far as we could, which was good because we saw a velocirapter at the spot we were standing at, not a minute before.

“Holy shit. We could have become his breakfast or dinner, whatever it is.” Miley said widening her eyes.

“Thanks twerp.” I said to my little brother.

“That’s a triceratops.” Sarah said. Her eyes were gleaming like she had seen her fairy godmother.

“You know it can eat us as well.” Miley said rolling her eyes, “Good thing he is going in the opposite direction.”

“We should run too.” I said with a lump in my throat pointing at a creature not very far from us; at least not as far as I would have liked.

“T-rex” my brother shouted at the top of his lungs, all blood drained from his face.

“Shut up, are you trying to get us killed? Calling him like he is your old pal.” Miley said with anger. She was as afraid as my brother.

“If we stay very still, it won’t see us. I read it somewhere that T-rex can only see moving objects.” Sarah whispered very slowly. We all froze to our spots. The dinosaur came running towards us.

“I don’t think your plan is working.” Miley said sweating like she was in a volcano.

“Maybe he doesn’t know it.” I suggested with my eyes glued to the sharp teeth of the animal.

“If he doesn’t know it, the rule won’t apply here.” Miley said as realisation hit her, “RUN”

We all ran as fast as we could, all but one. Sarah was fixed at her spot staring at the animal. Her eyes showed fear.

“Sarah, what are you doing? Run.” Miley shouted.

“She can’t move. She’s frozen with fear.” I said slowly.

“We have to do something.” my brother said.

“Oooooooooooooo” A voice came from somewhere in the forest.

“Tarzan?” Miley said furrowing her eyebrows with confusion.

“What is Tarzan doing here? With dinosaurs?” I said continuing her question.

“We are inside a mind. Anything can happen here.” my brother reminded us.

The dinosaur went in Tarzan’s direction and Sarah came back to her senses.

“I thought I would die.” Sarah said running towards us. Her heartbeat was so loud that I could hear it from a meter.

“Did you look at Tarzan?” Miley said drawing our attention.

“No why?” I asked her.

“It was him.” Miley said showing us her palms with her fingers pointing at the ground. She did this gesture whenever she explained something she thought was too obvious to explain.

“He pictures him as Tarzan.” Sarah said looking at me like it was my fault.

“What’s wrong with that? I’m sure you girls picture yourselves as princesses in your mind.” my brother defended.

“The twerp is right. I picture myself as a pop star.” I supported him.

“At least you got your ass saved. Miss Snow White.”

“Snow White?”  Sarah questioned.

“You were frozen like snow.” My brother answered with a grin on his face.

“As white as snow too.” Miley chimed in.

“I wasn’t.” Sarah said narrowing her eyes.

“You so were. It looked like you had no blood, or muscle for that matter.” I said as all 3 of us burst into laughter.

“Let me remind you, we have a mission to complete.” Sarah said gritting her teeth.

“I would have suggested following Tarzan, but we can’t risk meeting the T-rex again.” Miley said shaking her head.

“Maybe we should confront him in a less hostile environment.” I suggested.

“We need to figure out a way out of this forest.” my brother said and we all agreed.

“Maybe if we walk in a single direction for too long, this forest will end.” Sarah opined.

“What do you think will be next?” Miley said with excitement.

“Anything but Batman, I hope.” Sarah said.

“No, he is more of a spiderman fan, right twerp?”

“I have a name, you know.”

“Okay Kevin. What do you think?” I said stressing Kevin.

“I don’t know. Hulk and Green lantern have their chances too.” my brother said.

“Boys.” Miley said rolling her eyes.

“Something about school or studies?” Sarah said with sarcasm.

“All we’ll find is papers graded ‘F’.” Miley said.

“Miley” I said giving her the stink eye.

“What? We all know he is a dimwit.”

“I think the scenery has changed.” my brother said interrupting us.

“I think I know what this is.” I said with a smile making way on my lips.

“We all know. It’s the football stadium.” my brother said catching the ball that zoomed in our direction.

“Look who’s playing.” Sarah nudged me.
