Chapter 12

"Good morning beautiful" Seokwoo said as he was looking at Chani who lied on his chest

"Good morning" Chani smiled

"So what are our plans for today?"

"I don't know, what do you want to do?"

"Let's just go for a drink"

"Okay, and we will walk in the park"

"Sure babe, let's get dressed up" Seokwoo pinched Chani's cheek

It wasn't that long after they dressed up and left Seokwoo's house.

"So where will we go for a drink?"

"Let's go to "RPM", my friend Inseong works there and he's been recommending me to go there" Seokwoo said

"Sure, let's go"

The place was 10 minutes walk from Seokwoo's house. It wasn't anything luxurious or something, it was neat and small place, just how Chani wanted.

"Hey, Seokwoo, you came!" a boy greeted Seokwoo

"Oh hey Inseong, how it's going?"

"Good, and this is...?" Inseong asked while his look falling on Chani

"My boyfriend, Chani"

"Nice to meet you, Inseong right?" Chani spoke

"Yes, nice to meet you too" the boy smiled brightly "I'll find the best table for you lovebirds"

Chani kinda blushed on Inseong's remark which made Seokwoo chuckle

"Here"

He seated them on the table next to the window. It had the view of the busy city, and you could see people moving rapidly. There weren't a lot of tables next to theirs, and it was perfect. The only thing that interrupted them in their silence was the waiter who was waiting for their orders.

"I suddenly want hot chocolate, do you make that?" Chani asked the waiter

"Yes, we do"

"I want hot chocolate as well" Seokwoo said

"Hot chocolate it is! Coming soon!" the waiter was unusually joyful

"I like this place" Chani pointed

"Yeah, me too, we'll come here often" Seokwoo agreed while holding onto Chani's hand and kissing it

"Seokwoo, please tell me that we will never split up"

"Chani, of course we won't. Why are you having these thoughts?"

"I don't, I'm just not calm. It feels like I'm gonna lose you every second. I'm scared Seokwoo"

"Of what, Chani? Look, we're so happy together"

"I'm scared someone will ruin this happiness of ours"

"Get rid of those thoughts, don't ever think about that, nothing will ruin our happiness"

"Promise? " Seokwoo's line made Chani chuckle

Seokwoo didn't answer, but instead of answering it, he stood up and leaned towards Chani, pushing his lips on Chani's fluffy hair.

"Promise" Seokwoo said as he was cupping Chani's cheeks

Soon after, their hot chocolate came. They happily drank it as they were observing the people outside. They talked and talked, the time went away too quickly.

"We stayed here so long, didn't we?" Seokwoo said

"Yeah, we said that we will go to park as well" Chani pouted

"We can still go" Seokwoo smiled

They paid for the hot chocolate and left the place and went to the park. As they were holding hands they walked around the park.

"Let's buy ice cream and sit on the bench" Chani's eyes sparkled

"You sure love ice cream a lot, I'll buy it for you" Seokwoo poked Chani's cheek

They bought the ice cream and sat on the bench, watching the sunset. The skies were red mixed with orange, it was as there was a fire, but it was just the beauty of the nature. Seokwoo had his head on Chani's shoulder as their hands were intertwined.

"I love you so fucking much Kang Chani, you drive me crazy"

"I love you too, Kim Seokwoo"

"Do you think one day we will end up at the altar?" Seokwoo softly asked

"I hope so, if you don't leave one day"

"Chani, what are you talking about, I will never" Seokwoo furrowed his eyebrows

"Okay okay, don't get mad" Chani laughed

"By the way, I really wanna marry you one day."

"You will" Chani softly smiled

For a moment they both closed their eyes. Maybe they didn't tell each other, but both of them were fantasing about their future.

"Enjoy your happiness while you still can" she devilishly smiled before she took a sip from her drink
