All the Wisconsonians had been invited to the celebration party. The meal was delicious. It was a Thanksgiving type meal- turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, homemade rolls, and many different kinds of pies for dessert- because the date was November 25, and Thanksgiving was in two days. The meal was cooked by Redneck Jim's daughter, who it turned out was a very good cook. The people celebrated being freed from slavery, and everybody was very happy. After that, however, everybody went out to where the Korean Headquarters had once stood to honor the men who had died with a moment of silence. Bob thought of Tom swinging down on a rope and decapitating the whole second line of Koreans. He though of Mike laughing at the Korean army and giving the Wisconsonians confidence. He thought of all the other soldiers he had seen during the battle who had died. He didn't even know most of the men's names, but they had died protecting the Wisconsonians. As Bob thought about this, Redneck Jim picked up the megaphone and started to speak.
