Like A Roller-Coaster (BTOB Hyunsik fan fiction) [COMPLETED]

10 : ANOTHER SURPRISE

Since then, they became a stranger again. They were particularly quiet in any events that met them together. Few months later, Btob then had another comeback, and like she plead from Hyunsik, there's no more song for her.

But deep inside her heart, she felt the emptiness left by Hyunsik. As if, his songs filled her heart before. But now, it's empty. No more hatred or anger, and only regrets. She knew, she couldn't turn back the time. At this rate, Hyunsik surely won't be able to forget how she slapped him.

One day, when she was preparing to go to Cube, she received a breaking news from Seungyeon.

"Hello, this is Cube Entertainment.

We're sorry to inform that, BTOB Im Hyunsik solo debut was delayed because of health condition. He will still be joining for group promotions, but are not available for any individual schedules as we would like to limit his activities. We apologise for the situation, but will help him to debut as soon as he's ready.

On the other hand, Hyunsik insisted to release his song, so Yook Sungjae will release a digital single with the song. We hope fans will look into it, and support him wholeheartedly.

Seungyeon exchanged looks with her. They're puzzled with the sudden news. Of course, Seunghee slightly feel happy that Hyunsik is not working with Hani anymore, but she started to worry. Did Hyunsik is really sick that he had to delay his solo debut? Her mind started to think all the negative possibilities.

With a heavy heart, she left for work. She bumped into Sungjae at the cafe. She greeted him with a smile, trying not to show her real emotions. Her inner sides urged her to ask Sungjae about Hyunsik, but she can't.

Sungjae saw her expression. He cleared his throat, and faced her.

"Seunghee-ssi, you want to ask about Hyunsik hyung right?"

"Ah no, no, I'm fine." Seunghee quickly denied.

"Okay if you said so. But I think you should know, that, he cancelled his solo debut because of you. He never told us, but we knew. I'm not blaming you, or praising him in front of you, but-" Sungjae paused and breathed heavily.

"I'm sorry to say this, I know that I don't have the right to say so, but I hope you guys did something with your past and present. It hurts when I see you guys are hurting too."

Sungjae ended the conversation with a pat on Seunghee's shoulder. He slightly bowed, and left Seunghee that was speechless.

Again, Hyunsik surprised her with his move.

"What's all this roller-coaster feels you're giving me, Im Hyunsik" she whispered while clearing the sudden moist in her eyes.

But still, it doesn't give her the courage to meet him again. Thus, weeks passed by without anything being done to fix their relationship.

October 2017

Hyunsik smiled. He finally finished his new song. He then send it to BTOB's group chat, waiting for other members to respond and drop their comments.

5 minutes passed, he suddenly received a phone call from Sungjae. It's weird that the maknae called him during his schedule, but he quickly answered it.

" Sungjae ah, why? Is anything urgent?"

" Hyung ah. It's such a masterpiece. I really like it."

" What?" Hyunsik at it again. He is  always have unnecessary mental block. Sungjae sighed.

" Hyung, your new song! What's wrong with you? I'm saying about your Geuriwohada" Sungjae reply with small laughter at the end.

Hyunsik smile to his own dumbness. And BTOB's groupchat is flowing with praises from the other members, how simple but emotional the song is. Suddenly, Eunkwang messaged him personally.

"Hyunsik ah, are you sure another song for her? You promised to stop before"

"I tried, but... this is really the last. I won't disturb her anymore with my songs. Plus, I'm not asking her to be mine again, just... an explosion of emotions. I still didn't properly apologise after that night incident."

Hyunsik sighed. He knows that he should stop, but he failed. He got another reply from Eunkwang.

" Okay, but please be happy. Both of you. I hope you guys can find any ways to make up the relationship. If not as lover, at least a normal friends"

"I will, hyung. I'm the one who started the mess, so I will be responsible for it."

Eunkwang replied with a thumbs-up emoticon. 

He reached to a box that he kept under his computer table. He opened it, and took an old picture of them together. He started to feel overwhelmed by his feelings.
