She realizes she isn’t falling asleep anytime soon, when she ends up staring at the ceiling for five hours. At midnight she hears a voice calling her, telling her come outside. Outside awaits a drop of light floating in midair, it leads her to a garbage can that it enters, she looks inside and falls in. she wakes up in a fountain in the middle of a medieval village. While here she learns some things, she can’t go back home until she does what she can here, she is meant to banish darkness with the powerful magic of the sky, she is to do it with a half-demon-half-human as her partner, and if she fails; not only will that world be destroyed, but her world will be conquered as well. Saving the world is one thing, but doing it while arguing constantly with her partner Hami; who she claims to be the embodiment of Satan because of his heartless choices. Can she do it? Can they ever get along? This is a romantic, action, and fictional book showing how passion can erupt between the most unlikely of people.

Chapter 1: somebody kill me…

Nobody ever talks to me, why? I don’t know why.  They don’t have a reason to, and they don’t have a reason not to. This lunch time I sat alone, eating my veggies, I was vegan after all. In class I got a D in my math test today, not the first time. I tried to ask a boy I liked out yesterday, he laughed and replied, “Your joking right?” with a smile. At least, until he realized I was serious. Then he walked away and didn’t look back. That wasn’t the worst part, I had to leave early because I was shitting bricks in the bathroom, something I ate was spoiled or something. I was in there for a record- breaking HOUR AND A HALF! When I came out it was like two thirty, now because of that incident yesterday, people called me ‘machine gun girl’ all day today. Finally, I got home so I could just sleep for days at a time. What’s that? Girls don’t do karate? Well when your little girl realizes she has absolutely no friends on Facebook, and you see her breaking boards in the backyard, and then try to tell me again. “KYAHH! KYAHH!” my axe kick was easy, since I was flexible, I used to do ballet, but after falling flat on my face, and having nineteen other girls including the teacher laugh at me, I gave up. I did this forty times.

Twisting I around I got ready for some back kicks. “Hiyah! Yah! Yah!” it was again very easy, I did this for twenty minutes, but then there came the hard part, pivoting my heel and bringing my leg soaring through the air like that of a sword edge. Slamming my foot into the pillow covered wooden post, I experienced the same pain I feel every time I try it, dropping to the floor and holding the screams in, I cried silently. While caressing my tender foot, I heard a familiar voice,
