Madam Carter was indeed a witch as Alistair described her. She was the strict biology teacher that only Paulette find her akin. Nevertheless, she encouraged her students to talk, even when they make mistakes. Paulette was actively involved in her class and answered all questions correctly. Elio noticed that the girl blushed like a tomato when Mrs. Carter praised her. If Ménard had a tail she would be smacking the boy with it from excitement.
He also discovered that this college had beautiful, even divinely beautiful women. For example, this woman who was standing before him was awe and inspired respect. Her dark brown hair was curling down on her shoulders, her dark eyes staring like a hawk. Elio definitely liked the way she was dressed.
Carter made Paulette stay after the class and Elio left for lunch with Alistair and Vance. When someone touched his shoulder, he turned around but saw no one. He turned to the other side again and saw Scarlett smiling at him slyly.
"Hello, Voltaire. Where's your girlfriend, Lucretia? "Scarlett purred, sitting beside him on the table.
"She is with Mrs. Carter. They must have something to say to themselves. "Elio replied as he searched for something between the piles of sheets on the lunch table
"They must have sex."
"What did you say?" Elio looked up. His eyes widen at the girl's surprising words."Didn't you hear? Oh, how stupid of me. There are rumours that Paulette and Mrs. Carter are having a sapphic love affair here in college. Maybe because you're new and haven't heard the other juicy details. Ha, but that i'll let your Paulette explain them to you. "Scarlett murmured and sent him an air kiss as she rose and walked away.
Elio ran to Carter's room and rushed into it. All she saw was the teacher leaning against the table in front of Paulette, who was looking into her eyes and explaining something to her. When he came in, they both turned their gazes to him.
"If you excuse us, Mr. Neri, leave my room immediately if it's not important." The dark-haired lady ordered. Elio apologized and left, blushing like crazy. On the way he met Scarlett again. He didn't say anything to her. But she didn't want to tell him anything either.

The brunette saw his French teacher walking and caught up with her. Elio smiled broadly and greeted Madame Lefebvre. It is unknown how, but he and the woman had somehow become closer than they should have been."I brought you the essay you wanted, madam. Four pages on "Aesthetics Today." I did my best. I wrote almost all night. Well, I started from dinner until maybe midnight."
"Merçi boucoup, Elio. I noticed that despite your stay in France, you have a few gaps and I want to correct them." Said the woman when she took his paper."Okay. What are these gaps, if I may ask?"
" Speaking. You worry a little, you stutter, and I want to remove it."Carol smiled at him and looked at his beautiful face."Madam, by any chance, is Scarlett Dune in one of your classes?"
"Scarlett Dune? Yes, she studies French philology like you, but I don't think that's her specialty. Why do you ask?"
"Because today she told me things that turned out to be incorrect. I wonder if she often, well, lies."
"Elio, honey, you just ignore her. She has some troubles with Paulette since the beginning."
"Thank you, ma'am. Have a nice day." said the boy and ran to his friends.Madame Lefebvre just smiled and walked to the teacher's room..
